Very very happy with my G3.
There is no gong back after 551 ppi.
No hiccups so far all very smooth.
ricknos, 03 Jul 2014i really want this phone, 560dpi screenThis phone'a only strong suit is the display, which hinders performance and battery life.
Android L developing package is in same quality with ios.... That's only available for nexus devices only still... But some times it'll release for every top level android phone... Did u watched that new ANDROID L Promo video from youtube?
james, 02 Jul 2014Its not a good idea to buy G3 at this point. q3 and q4 of 2014 will be the worst time if someb... moreAnd if you wait another year the 806 will be out in the next flagship phones . . . .
djamaika, 03 Jul 2014Does D855(European) have 32GB/3GB RAM version?Ofcourse
law_ren22, 03 Jul 2014How lon does it take to charge from 10℅ to 100%? Mine takes 4 hours. Is this normal?... moreyour battery charge slowly mainly because of the follwing reasons:
-the phone has too many backgroud apps which makes your CPU awake all the time, and depending on the CPU load it will take longer
-You are using a charger that has a lower current rating
-you device restricts the current flow to protect it from being overcharge and to protect the battery.
leaving your phone charged overnight is safe depending on a device whether it has a protective circuit for over charging or depending on the charger that you are using. most devices now are protected from being overcharged.
-charge your phone on a off state. Turn off your device and charge it.
-use your manufacturers charger
-use a charger with higher current ratings mostly 1A is considered a fast charger but 2A variants are already available on the market.
Above will ensure a faster charging time, that's 100% sure.
hope it helped you mate
Anonymous, 03 Jul 2014NO Iphone please,i hate that small screen, strain my eyes reading/typing texts, surfing nets,wat... morethats a cruel comment of yours yeah I admit I don't have Lg g3 thats because I spend my money wisely. I am not to particular with brand I do always review devices what are their cons and pros. Im going to ask you did you feel any difference on you QHD display compared to a regular FHD display?and you are telling me that SD805 isnt important? man take a look you have a QHD display and you tell me that SD805 isnt important?adreno 330 will surely struggle. even the most expensive GPU's on laptop category cant handle it fluently at that resolution when playing hardcore games. to tell you honestly QHD is for big screens not for a 5inch display.
I know that you know Im right with that. Right?
with your comment I know that you hate apple, and I dont mind if you do hate it. Like what I've said I dont care about the brand. My comments are honest and not biased to any particular brand.
looks like you are offended with my comment, sorry about that dude just telling my opinion
I hate iphones mainly for their design, shrinked screen, poor battery & OS, ha ha ha..then what's left?? I think my hatred about the half eaten apple covers everything whether it's iphone 5,5S,6,or 6S.

My G3 is best, very comfortable with the size and the absolute sharp resolution screen.
I wouldn't bother about the 805 or whatever,801 with 3GB Ram are already fast and smooth for all my apps, nets, videos, games.
Basically you DO NOT appreciate the beauty of G3,because you do not own one,LG is really doing an excellent job created the G3 to the world.
How lon does it take to charge from 10℅ to 100%? Mine takes 4 hours. Is this normal? Is it also okay to leave it charged overnight even if the battery is full?
james, 02 Jul 2014Its not a good idea to buy G3 at this point. q3 and q4 of 2014 will be the worst time if someb... moreU r right in many things except Iphone 6, none care about it and is out of competition...Apple is Dead...
I just got my LG G3, I'm really pleased with the handset. I may root it for custom ROMs sometime the future but not immediately. The UI seems reasonable and the "Quite Hours" feature I'd previously used on the Cyanogenmod 11 was present, excellent. In terms of the screen it's awesome but i imagine it's beyond my natural capability to really tell the difference between the S5 and G3 in terms of PPI.
I was a little apprehensive about the battery due to the screen size but so far I'm not horrified. I am a strong believer in extended batteries but I hope in this case it won't be needed.
This is my second hand set however. The first appeared to discharge very fast and was warm to the touch on the volume/power key area. Something to watch for as I'd done very little and didn't have any rouge Apps to my knowledge. In terms of discharge, I'm talking 50% in 2.5 hours, even when screen off and handset unused. The Android OS had the majority of power consumption so something was very wrong. The Carphone Warehouse swapped the handset but queried the nature of the first battery change. My feeling is there was a something else amiss here to cause such a problem. Regardless, for my new handset, I will run my out-of-the-box battery empty (from 50% full) and do a 6-8 hour full charge just in case there is something in their advice. I thought the age of Lithium batteries and first charges was over...
Its not a good idea to buy G3 at this point. q3 and q4 of 2014 will be the worst time if somebody plans to buy a flagship or a mid ranger device right now. SD805 is comming Im waiting for SD805, it's a waste of money if someone tries to buy a smartphone at the flagship category right now. SD801 will be replaced by SD805, which is far better. LG g3, z2,m8 and s5 will be soon replaced by a more powerfull SOC. Iphone 6 is also coming which is quite interesting. So save your money guys don't bother buying any flagship phone right now. Resale value for androids are too low compared to iphones.
as soon as Iphone 6 will be released all manufacturers will surely try to beat that with the new SD805 SOC so anyone who will try to buy a new android flasgship device right now will regret it since a newer SOC will come. Newer version of android will also come.
