I tried and handled the G3 today for the first time
and here are my impressions:
(WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS MY OPINION.)
I'm a bit disappointed with the screen, despite the
1440x2560 resolution. I just couldn't really tell the
difference between a 1080p screen and this one.
Without a doubt, it's a good screen, but not much
different from 1080p.
The material is plastic (as most of us know now). I'm
not a fan of plastic, but this type of plastic is OK
and passes "my standards".
The design is great, and I like how the body is
nearly the same as the G2, but manages to pack the
5.5 QHD screen into it. Pretty impressive I must say.
For hardware performance, the phone is snappy, reacts
quickly and is smooth altogether.
I didn't get to try the camera, as the unit was
pretty much fixed. But from looking at the G3 review
here, it looks impressive.
So in all, a really good phone. Worth looking at. I
shall be trying it again though.
As before, the above is my opinion, and is just my
preference to the phone.
is the battery really hold only 6-7 hours not like the G2 that can hold on twise ?

I play that game alot along with clash of clans and jungle heat. It's been important to me that it can play all my favorites and any other games I may want.
Robot286, 04 Jul 2014This phone'a only strong suit is the display, which hinders performance and battery life.Am afraid that some mere assumption and not a fact. Fact is the battery lasts good enough or even better than what some others have to offer. Borrow one from someone to use and come to a decision. Okay?
good phone .. If LG will release the ANDROID L update... It's toooooooo good..
Any idea on compatibility between tmobile and att versions. I know tmobile uses 2,4,7,17 LTE bands and Att uses 1,2,3,4,5,7,17,29. I want to buy the tmobile version because i will be out of town for 5 months and their international plan is amazing, but when I get back I want to use it for Att will there be any down side to the missing LTE bands?
REAL RACING 3 NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE G3 - I was seconds away from purchasing the phone when it struck to me to for once check if my favourite game(Real Racing 3) works on this phone...
To my amazement and even the salesman playstore shows that this game is not compatible..this game even works on a Samsung Galaxy II....
I am sure there must be many more games that are not compatible this is just one of them..Even the LG G2 is compatible with this game...
I am disheartened specially when a phone with so good specifications like the G3..If LG is reading this please do look into it because your older version the G2 is compatible with Real Racing 3.
Hi to all LG g3 user, I really need a honest opinion and review regarding LG g3 b4 I purchase it... Tqvm
