THE G3'S GREATEST STRENGTH IS ITS LACK OF WEAKNESSES
The LG G3 may not make the best first impression with everyone, but spend some time using it and you’ll quickly find a lot to like about it. Whether it’s the fun of a quick, laser-guided camera, the reassurance of a long-lasting battery, or the fast performance of a mature Android OS, this phone does everything well. The Quad HD display is excellent, even if its extra resolution doesn’t contribute much in the way of meaningful improvement. LG’s marketing push around lasers and resolution is predictably overblown, but the company’s underlying camera and display technologies are indeed impressive and make the G3 a phone worth owning.
There’s no overlooking the fact that the G3 is big and pretty awkward. I find its ergonomic trade-offs reasonable, on the whole, and justified by the stupendously efficient front bezels, light weight, and neatly curved back. Less defensible is the attempt to imitate the brushed-metal look of the aluminum HTC One, a handset that delights with its authentic design as much as its tactile feel. In pursuing that fake metal aesthetic, LG is reinforcing its reputation as the producer of apologetically plastic devices.
More than anything else, what I want from a phone is to get out of my way. I know what I want to accomplish with my device, I just need it to be ready to accept commands and process them quickly. The G3 has performed that role as well as any handset I’ve used in the past year and, a few cosmetic issues aside, is my favorite phone of 2014.
The phone is very nice and the facilities are excellent. LG has shown that consumers place great importance on it.
if they updated the camera to 16 mil or more and made it water resistant it would be the best on the market by a mile, they made the battery replaceable and radio which are deal breakers for me :) they have dropped the ball a bit, it they just upped the camera spec from the g2 and i can't understand why ? and made it water resistant it would be 10 out of 10
LG G3 is the undisputed emperor of the mobile world. But as is known to each,GIONEE is well known to kill the competition. Wait for the day when GIONEE offers QHD with 4GB RAM, 6 inch display, and the likes for almost half the price.LG has really done a great job and innovation in packing the great overall package with ultra desirables.
Mobilemaster, 04 Jun 2014That's only in Korea. There is good enough to prove G3 the best, did other bands manage to get this figures.
Mobilemaster, 04 Jun 2014That's only in Korea.I know. that means its debut was a huge fluff. Even Koreans are tired of samsung. even the international market isn't as receptive of the s5

I know this is where opinions are posted, but come on! People are looking for waterproofing/dustproofing? It maybe handy in some situations but not worth the extra cost. And a lot of people were complainig about the battery already?there is no real test that came out yet, hold your horeses there and stop whinging! If you think qhd is a gimmick, then dont buy it its only a matter of time that other maker are going to follow that path in terms of resolution. You have to admit that for that phone dimension, tht screen size is very impressive. U dont believe me? Im using my sis note 1 while typing thi post.its annoyingly big(too wide). My wifes note 3 is narrower, and this beast has a few mm less width and bigger screen than note. So looking forward to this fon.
