Am seeing reviews in XDA forums that there are battery issues & heating issues. Oh boy...with QHD display i suspected heating issues. These are very early days though. Only after month of general availability, would the opinions start pouring in from people who would have spent considerable time with the phone.
I dont want to go back with my decision to grab this. Waiting..fingers crossed..
Nice work from LG, but I wish they would stop placing their logo infront, or change it. Their logo doesn't look good ay all.

If the S5.5's design were the design of the E7 then they could have made it bigger! Honestly, Gionee is good but Oppo is much more advanced in everything plus the price of Oppo Find 7A is much better than the ELife E7. LG G3 is on a different league though coz LG can make a wider market than Gionee. LG is on par with Samsung, Apple, HTC and Sony and among the big players LG leads in the innovation department. Once Gionee makes phones with QHD then LG might be starting making higher res screens, maybe a 4K screen on a flagship. They always lead the game honestly. LG was the one who introduced dual core phones in the market starting with the Optimus 2X. LG was the one who started the 720p resolution and better chipset on a phone (Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad Core 1.5GHz) with the Optimus G then they set the standards higher than any of the OEMs out there with the G2 which was the first to use the Snapdragon 800 from last year. LG was the first and I think will always be the first for the next few years to come. I am a Sony and Nokia fan but now I will be switching to the G3 for one reason... It has everything that I need and want on a phone. :)
Awesome phone. By LG G3 3>
emaildizzy, 05 Jun 2014if they updated the camera to 16 mil or more and made it water resistant it would be the best ... moreBecause you don't have money, you're asking for phones that don't exist.

THE G3'S GREATEST STRENGTH IS ITS LACK OF WEAKNESSES
The LG G3 may not make the best first impression with everyone, but spend some time using it and you’ll quickly find a lot to like about it. Whether it’s the fun of a quick, laser-guided camera, the reassurance of a long-lasting battery, or the fast performance of a mature Android OS, this phone does everything well. The Quad HD display is excellent, even if its extra resolution doesn’t contribute much in the way of meaningful improvement. LG’s marketing push around lasers and resolution is predictably overblown, but the company’s underlying camera and display technologies are indeed impressive and make the G3 a phone worth owning.
There’s no overlooking the fact that the G3 is big and pretty awkward. I find its ergonomic trade-offs reasonable, on the whole, and justified by the stupendously efficient front bezels, light weight, and neatly curved back. Less defensible is the attempt to imitate the brushed-metal look of the aluminum HTC One, a handset that delights with its authentic design as much as its tactile feel. In pursuing that fake metal aesthetic, LG is reinforcing its reputation as the producer of apologetically plastic devices.
More than anything else, what I want from a phone is to get out of my way. I know what I want to accomplish with my device, I just need it to be ready to accept commands and process them quickly. The G3 has performed that role as well as any handset I’ve used in the past year and, a few cosmetic issues aside, is my favorite phone of 2014.
Price is very high........ It should be $450!
Best flaghsip smartphone for this year
The phone is very nice and the facilities are excellent. LG has shown that consumers place great importance on it.
if they updated the camera to 16 mil or more and made it water resistant it would be the best on the market by a mile, they made the battery replaceable and radio which are deal breakers for me :) they have dropped the ball a bit, it they just upped the camera spec from the g2 and i can't understand why ? and made it water resistant it would be 10 out of 10
LG G3 is the undisputed emperor of the mobile world. But as is known to each,GIONEE is well known to kill the competition. Wait for the day when GIONEE offers QHD with 4GB RAM, 6 inch display, and the likes for almost half the price.LG has really done a great job and innovation in packing the great overall package with ultra desirables.
