tanvir, 21 Mar 2016it is really frustrating... I can't understand how LG g3 survive in the market with this types... moreThis overheating problem is there in many smartphones especially flagships, for example z3+ which uses snapdragon 810 has sever overheating , and people just have to accept it,like me,I use my phone a lot and I don't care for overheating ,you have to to learn live with it,
And you cannot claim anything because it's chipset and they can't change your chipset,I know it's frustrating but you'll get use to it, and in hot weather my phone became so hot without even using it.
My brother uses a galaxy e5 and there is no heat in it,chipset is snapdragon 410,but my g3 is always boiling lol

I can't understand how LG g3 survive in the market with this types of overheating issue. My phone till now under 1 year warranty. Do you have any idea whether I can claim support for this issue ? If it is a common problem for LG G3 then how can other user continue with this phone .
tanvir, 20 Mar 2016Thanks for your feedback . Is it a hardware defect or the issue observed in lollipop only ?
I... moreYou're welcome dear, this problem is not related to lollipop,as I said this heat is being produced by snapdragon 801,this chipset has overheating issue,to control it sony used cooler pipes on z2,by that it takes longer time for z2 to become so hot,
Since camera especially 4k video recording use all the power of snapdragon 801,the phone becomes so hot soon. Many web sites including gsm arena reported that g3 has overheating issue even when you use for simple activities like chatting.
On kit Kat the phone became so hot,on lollipop it became a little better, and it depends on lg as how much they worked on marshmallow ,as a fact software cannot eliminate the heat completely never so don't except it because it is a hardware issue, maybe it became worst on marshmallow maybe vice versa .and we see a little improvement
man of war, 19 Mar 2016This heat is being produced by the chipset, and you can't do anything about it.Thanks for your feedback . Is it a hardware defect or the issue observed in lollipop only ?
If it is software issue, then is there any solution in marshmallow for the same ?
Others opinions will also highly appreciated .
