If you are considering this phone then you are contemplating the following.note 3,Z2, Z3, z3+, or even the note 4. Go for the g3 if you cannot afford the note 4. The note 4 is a logical update from the g3. It is an alround phone.
This has been the best phone I've had to-date. Battery life is excellent. Those that state it's bad are probably doing something else with their phone or else, expect the battery life to be excellent even though they're playing games or doing other graphics-intensive operations on the phone. I can go a full day without having to recharge, taking phone calls, texting, reading the news. Once I play games, then it's probably going to be time to recharge if I play for an hour. But that's going to happen with just about any phone.
This phone has received multiple OTA upgrades. It started with KitKat, then it got Lollipop, and just this month, we received Marshmallow. I've never had a phone that went through that many versions of Android. Kudos to LG and Verizon for giving us the latest Android version.
The phone itself is light, and fits comfortably in your hand. It feels so thin it's hard to believe the size of the screen.
The many features that LG has put into this phone are excellent: knock code (using a touch pattern on your screen to unlock your phone), double tapping to lock the device and turn off the screen, gestures to take pictures, flipping the phone over to turn off alarms rather than having to tap something, and the list goes on.
The camera itself is excellent. It takes great pictures and great videos. And the external SD card slot provides expanded capacity for storage (up to 128gb). The internal storage is also great, but it depends on which model you get. Make sure you get the 3gb/32gb internal storage option (3gb memory for apps to run and the rest for storage internally).
The display is vibrant and I haven't had any issues with it. My only complain is that, even though it first great in your hand, it feels almost too slippery and that makes me nervous. Having a case to protect it is definitely a good thing. Yes, it adds to the bulk, but it almost makes it about the same size as a normal phone.
Considering this phone is almost 2 years old though, it's probably harder to get and the G4 is already out, and the G5 is just around the corner. But, if you need to get an older phone due to budget, you cannot miss with this phone, especially since it runs the latest Android and it runs great with it.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2016I can't buy it under warranty so the reliability and durability bothers me a lot... I have to ... moreCheck previous comments about these phones, there was already a lot of comments about them, probably no huge differences among them. As long as they are original and not used phones, I don't think you'll have problems with them. :)
I personally took LG, never had this brand before, because it has big screen and a good one, great camera with laser focus and lots of space (32 GB, with 3 GB RAM) etc. and also because it will get 6.0 update. So far I'm satisfied with it and no issues. :)
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2016How is the phone in terms of PERFORMANCE (no lag, stutter, random restart),Camera,Batterye.t.c ... moreI've had this phone since release (June 2014) and I love it. No issues once or ever, the 3GB of ram and 3000 mah battery was amazing then and still is. No lag issues, no problems. Only issue i've had is when LG did a software update and my phone started acting buggy. After a factory reset I haven't had any issues. Completely recommend the phone.
I've been using LG G3 for two years now, my only problem encountered is the battery issue. i bought another battery to solve my problem... and overall 9/10....

Always use your warranty to get things fixed, unless u bought this phone from a third party that is a refurbished phone. Kindly do not misguide people into not to buy this phone, by the way u r also ruining the Lg company reputation. Same on u.

To be honest, all of these are huge phones and feel unwieldy compared to my earlier S5. I tried Z3, G3 and G4- Z3 is slim but very tall lacks grip in hand, G4 is both tall and wide but as you rightly said the curve fits in the palm, G3 I found to be more ergonomic although it's broad too.

For starte... moreI would like to know where did you buy and people with same issues... 2 same phones having only problem? Sorry but I don't think that is true or it's not an original one. And if you have such problems, why didn't you return it, doesn't it have warranty? In my country they would either replace it or send it to the local official LG repair service to check it out.
I have mine for months now and so far no issues and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good phone, but doesn't want to spend too much money or buy the newest flagship one.
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2016How is the phone in terms of PERFORMANCE (no lag, stutter, random restart),Camera,Batterye.t.c ... moreDO NOT buy this phone. I have had trouble since after the first month of having it. For starters the battery dies fast. I've purchased two batteries for this phone because I thought that was the issue and it wasn't. Secondly, there are times my text messages wont show at all and they get deleted by themselves. I've called my carrier and they said it's the phone to call LG. I called LG and they couldn't solve it either. My keyboard as we speak freezes and sometimes doesn't load the words after I type. My mom has the same phone and hers always says there isn't storage. She has no extra apps other than what comes with the phone. Also, when the phone updates itself you will find extra apps the phone downloads and it will delete your own personal stuff. Save your money and do not buy this phone.

I value my hard-earned money.
G3 has been my only android phone so far.
Before I bought the G3, I was using the famous Nokia N70 for 8 years.
