svs, 23 Feb 2016I have the same model as you do. Still no updateSad to hear that. They were on the right track when they released the Lollipop update within 2 months of its global launch to users. Sad to see them fall back into the same whole they dug themselves out of last year.
As good a phone the G5 might end up being, folks won't be interested in it if the company has a bad reputation on timely software updates.

Hi, i am going to by G3 D855 2GB RAM 16 Storage phone. how is it please share your ideas
Many people are experiencing different problems with the G3. That's cause of the various versions of lollipop. I have 5.0 and only have the notification issue. As for the battery life I still get through a day and a half without playing games. I wonder why so many complaints - have this D855 model for over a year now. Still waiting on marshmellow tho.
For those who own the International D855 model, has anyone yet received 6.0 update? I ask coz I have the 32gb one and it's still pending the said update.
Hey guys. I have this problem with my G3: wi-fi connection is dropping all the time and sometimes it won't connect again. So basically I can't use wi-fi on my phone, because it doesn't work properly and I refuse to wait a lifetime till it connects again. When they flashed better software into the phone at the store, wifi worked good when connected to shop's wifi. When I got home the issues appeared again. (They are also happening when connecting to other wifis in the city.) I still can use my warranty but seller from the shop told me if the problem doesn't show up at the repair station I will have to pay 80 € postage. So should I take a risk and send it to the repairing station (use my warranty)? I'm afraid even if the problem shows up at the station they will just flash the software, which we already tried to do and it didn't solve a thing. Or is there any other way how to solve this problem?

Much appreciated everyone's opinion I can buy Huawei p8(280USD) hardware SOC did not impress me. XPERIA Z2(250USD),I read that it is fragile and its Camera heats up really quickly even while recording 1080p and taking photographs for some minutes and force closes and I use camera a lot so it would be a big problem to me.Same problem with HTC ONE M8(170-250USD) camera is not as good as its competitors.LG G3(250USD) I don't play Games but I don't like lags like I read in previous mentioned comments on LG G3's performance,I have also read about screen problems the following link explain it beter
.I have also read that it heats up due 2K display and it is not bright.kindly tell me how much true these problems are? as I am going to use for long time so I just need a reliable phone as I am not getting any of it under warranty thanks in anticipation
If you are considering this phone then you are contemplating the following.note 3,Z2, Z3, z3+, or even the note 4. Go for the g3 if you cannot afford the note 4. The note 4 is a logical update from the g3. It is an alround phone.
This has been the best phone I've had to-date. Battery life is excellent. Those that state it's bad are probably doing something else with their phone or else, expect the battery life to be excellent even though they're playing games or doing other graphics-intensive operations on the phone. I can go a full day without having to recharge, taking phone calls, texting, reading the news. Once I play games, then it's probably going to be time to recharge if I play for an hour. But that's going to happen with just about any phone.
This phone has received multiple OTA upgrades. It started with KitKat, then it got Lollipop, and just this month, we received Marshmallow. I've never had a phone that went through that many versions of Android. Kudos to LG and Verizon for giving us the latest Android version.
The phone itself is light, and fits comfortably in your hand. It feels so thin it's hard to believe the size of the screen.
The many features that LG has put into this phone are excellent: knock code (using a touch pattern on your screen to unlock your phone), double tapping to lock the device and turn off the screen, gestures to take pictures, flipping the phone over to turn off alarms rather than having to tap something, and the list goes on.
The camera itself is excellent. It takes great pictures and great videos. And the external SD card slot provides expanded capacity for storage (up to 128gb). The internal storage is also great, but it depends on which model you get. Make sure you get the 3gb/32gb internal storage option (3gb memory for apps to run and the rest for storage internally).
The display is vibrant and I haven't had any issues with it. My only complain is that, even though it first great in your hand, it feels almost too slippery and that makes me nervous. Having a case to protect it is definitely a good thing. Yes, it adds to the bulk, but it almost makes it about the same size as a normal phone.
Considering this phone is almost 2 years old though, it's probably harder to get and the G4 is already out, and the G5 is just around the corner. But, if you need to get an older phone due to budget, you cannot miss with this phone, especially since it runs the latest Android and it runs great with it.
well for people interested in purchase this phone ill say go ahead... this is ebauty ..excellent camera..now it is in 6.0 os.... u can have a lot of gb and chnage battery .... if u want to play ehavy games then u may find an issue not because it cant run them it is jut that at higher settings ull get lag due to the phone has to play with more pixels than average phones due to the 2k screen .... keep in mind that but this phone is excellent that could be mine if i wanted to save money and get a decent phone .... but i have its little brother the G2 wich for me it seems bigger than little cause performace is better screen is good at 1080p no complain and excellent battery life of course it is not easy to get one now days specially new... in wich u get the best experience.
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2016I can't buy it under warranty so the reliability and durability bothers me a lot... I have to ... moreCheck previous comments about these phones, there was already a lot of comments about them, probably no huge differences among them. As long as they are original and not used phones, I don't think you'll have problems with them. :)
I personally took LG, never had this brand before, because it has big screen and a good one, great camera with laser focus and lots of space (32 GB, with 3 GB RAM) etc. and also because it will get 6.0 update. So far I'm satisfied with it and no issues. :)
