the battery backup is so awful and on of the batteries get rotted.
Susan, 17 Nov 2015Since last night the screen goes black when Im making a call or answering a call. It takes a w... moreClear wax from your ears. It blocks the proximity sensor on the screen and gives false signal as if the phone is still held against the ear.
In the short time I have owned this G4 which was an upgrade from the G2, I can't find anything in particular which isn't that bad. I will be replacing the backcover with something more sturdier and less likely to suffer from cosmetic damage.
It may not have the Snapdragon 810 or the heavily anticipated 820 chipset however it does me just fine. Call quality is clear to the point I have to check people are still on the same call as me sometimes.
Basic functions work well as expected and the laser auto focus on the camera is excellent compared to other mobile telephone cameras I have used. Very clear, colour accurate and good use of contrast.
The UI of the LG software is simple, efficient and easy to use. There's not much lag between apps and the dual screen feature could come in handy for some things although I haven't found a use as yet.
The option of up to 200GB external storage is also a boon. There's very little to be disappointed about here. If you are a gamer you may want to look at the 810 or later for better performance.
If it's one thing I can truly appreciate and respect is that LG still makes it's flagship phones in Korea. They are the only ones that haven't sold out their finest products to cheap Chinese manufacturing. And this is coming from someone who works in China.
Leo, 20 Nov 2015if review is right... the battery is shit... man wtf lg is doing Which or who's review. ....?
LG has become one of my favorite phone brands. In a couple of years they've really improved themselves. The G4 is an excellent phone. Great screen, camera and speed. I have the plastic variant and although the back is removable, it feels like a solid unibody phone without any noise or cracking when you push the back. I can use this phone with one hand without any problem and I have average size hands. That's great for a 5.5 inch phone. I recommend this phone to the people that are thinking of buying it.

Kkiran, 15 Nov 2015Bought G4 a couple of weeks back.. Initially there was no problem, worked perfectly.. I loved ... moreHad the same problem with my samsung phone. Also thought it was something in the camera so I took it apart. It wasn't on any of the lenses, so I had to dig down to the sensor and clean it. But I wouldn't suggest doing this if you're not professional. Take it to the service center or (since it's new) return it f you can. My problem occured after having the phone for 3 years, it shouldn't be something you have to deal with a brand new phone.
