Great product! I will stick with my G3 as it's all the phone I want right now, but I'd go for G4 if I was looking into the market for a new one. Waiting for some reviews now to see how this device stands up to the current breed of superphones.

That being said the actual impact is debateable. While DDR4 RAM is theoretically faster and more energy efficient, real world performance (at least in desktops, I can't say about phones) doesn't show any clear advantage to using current DDR4 RAM. I'm a bit disappointed that all the big OEM's are going with 3 gigs this year though when they're all switching to x64 platforms.
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2015I hope the cpu will be better than 1.8ghz because g3 has 2.5 ghz Its not only about gigahertz.
AnonD-335213, 27 Apr 2015"king of smartphone"? Yes indeed, IN; YOUR; APNOEIC DREAMS!yes g4 is the best phone at this moment until the g4 note arrived on october 2015
you might ask how do i know that? because i already tested the this phone and im also using galaxy s6 and iphone6+ and i compared them side by side.
g4 'c camera is the best sahrper, very excellent details even on the low light areas.
the battery is longer than the s6' battery
the 8mp selfie cam is the best today.
the design looks elegant and comfortable to hold and easy to grip.not slippery
thanks lg for giving me change to tried g4!
the best phone of the year!
Considering that the f1.8 camera in this phone is being so prominently hyped, why isn't this listed in the specifications?
Sadly, the phone is apparently going to come with 3GB (not 4gb as many have stated) of DDR3 (not DDR4) memory.
I am less and less impressed with this phone :(
