please reply.. i bought my lg g4 h815t from amazon sellerbeforei becameaware about the bootloop issue.. the serial number in phone sticker(507...) and in the box(510...) do not match but same imei.. what could it mean?
I have my LG G4 for 9 months now, and never had any serious issues like bootloop problem. Only had issues when I upgraded mine to marshmallow, in which other applications were not functioning and I have to update all applications and reset all the preferences. Marshmallow upgrade is not that bad, actually it is great as long as you overcome those problems I said. My unit is working perfectly fine after updating all applications and granting permission when using 3rd party applications. LoL ez mmr
Very disappointed. Less than a year with the LG G4 and the boot loo problem. I tried getting it fixed and carrier said LG wouldn't fi it because the screen was cracked. The screen cracked at least 10 months ago. Anyway, I emailed LG and they wanted to charge me $150 for fiing a phone that was on warranty. All I wanted was boot loop issue fixed.
Plus, if you call they leave you on hold and my emails aren't answered anymore.
Horrible product, worse customer service.
Gkm, 13 Sep 2016Buy the phone from your provider and you should be good. LG has committed to fix the bootloop ... moreMy G4 got into bootloop 3 weeks back(after 14 months. mine was a international phone with 1 yr warranty already expired. still they replaced my phone which i received today exactly after 2 weeks they received. The customer care person tld there is another kind of warranty which coves for 15months and based on that they can replace it , it seems. i havent opened it yet. hopefully its not a faulty one
I purchased G4 a year ago - serial #505 (yes, just a few days out of warranty). It was a very good phone, but the bootloop just kicked in and now it is a brick. I guess I am fortunate to have had 1 year of use. Do not think you are out of the woods because it is working now, or has worked for a few weeks.
Affan, 04 Sep 2016Don't buy these variants as you will experience bootloops. Buy only korean variants F500, K, L... moreMine is made in korea but still have boot loop problem. H818 dual sim. Battery drains so fast.. Hayst i just bought a scrap...
Loveforever, 13 Sep 2016If you are buying single sim version G4, then see the serial or batch Number 505 to 507 ,hav... moreMine is dual sim and have boot loop problem too. Bought it last june 3, 2015 and experience boot loop sept 4 2015. And again same problem now. They replace it last sept 2015 but not they will repair using recondition board. I dont think its enough. They should make a recall on all g4 since there is an issue on quality. Poor g4 buyers/owners.
Jim , 15 Sep 2016Mine finally gave up the ghost very disappointed. We should file complaint to DTI. They sell low quality product. We should unite.
LG is so irresponsible on addressing their problem on g4. They should make a recall to all their g4 units since it is proven that there is an issue eversince. Is there anyone here who can write letter of complaint to DTI requesting to order LG to make a recall on all g4 units. It is not enough just to repair the unit, they should give us quality product since what we paid is a hard earned money. To all g4 owners let us unite.
Sakulta, 15 Sep 2016Tina, I don't think I'm spamming at all. You should check G4 bootloop thread on reddit. There ... moreYes you do just a few spot that problem not EVERY SINGLE G4
Stop trolling if you doesnt have g4 okay??.please mind of your own phone
[deleted post]Tina, I don't think I'm spamming at all. You should check G4 bootloop thread on reddit. There are multiple reports about bootloop for serial number 510 and above. https://www.reddit.com/r/lgg4/comments/4dibyz/bootlooped_post_your_info_here_megathread/
Hy! I have send my phone to be replaced under warranty by my provider because of the bootloop problem. If the serial number is 510 or more the phone should not experience the same problem ?
Gkm, 13 Sep 2016Buy the phone from your provider and you should be good. LG has committed to fix the bootloop ... moreLG will only replace/repair your phone if it's still under warranty (1 year). You don't know what you're talking about.
Anonymous, 14 Sep 2016how can i check this numbers? Serial number is shown on the back side of the phone once you remove the battery.
