I own the dual sim model.
Terrible battery life especially after marshmallow. And finally bootlooped.
Big disappointment, I will never ever buy an LG product again.
Blender64, 23 Sep 2016please make vid showing this because iv had this since day one and that has never happend Search it on google. It's pretty recent.
To anyone who is looking to buy this phone I can only say don't. Although it is an amazing value it will bootloop at some point.
Mine died and it has not even been a year since I bought it. So it's around 400 eur down the drain.
I was refused warranty service because my phone had a small crack on the glass. It is completely wrong and dishonorable in my opinion to do this seeing how this issue is due to the manufacturing process and not because of any physical damage.
I have an LG G4
I had it for 3 weeks and it fell out my pocket 50 cm and broke the screen. It looks like a road map. No warranty and they charge me R3000 to replace.
Apart from all sorts of irritations the thing that bugs me most is losing phone numbers. Can anyone tell my why it drops contacts
[deleted post]Not true. Using a Nexus 5x (only because it was so cheap when i bought it). Loved my G4. Hated the bootloop. What's your excuse?

Lol even the LG Nexus 5x has the bootloop, exposed after the nougat update. LG is the undisputed king of bootloop!
Is it seriously just like that problem with bootloop.. I just wonder because I've had LG L70 that also had this issue and I thought about buying G4 but.... le't me think again..
There is no bootloop in this model ; other smartphone companies are envy with LG and people are defaming this model LG G4 go for it.........
G4 is really such a disappointment. I used mine for almost 6 mos only because of that boot loop issue.
Bootloop finally came to my g4 with serial no start with 509, glad I have 8 months of usage, and lost all my precious photos, no more lg for me
[deleted post]I do have one H815 variant and it went into bootloop after 10 months of usage.
My LG G4 was a birthday gift from my Mrs, "I would never get this phone" means "I would never get this phone".
Stop spamming on stopping other G4 users posting their experience.
AnonD-165409, 19 Sep 2016are you sure that if i buy the h818 variant now it won't have the bootloop issue????There's no guarantee mate, especially this phone. And the problem is not the variant, it's the serial number, majority of bootloop phone have serial number starts with 505 to 509 (first digit is the last digit of year manufactured, then the two digits are manufacturing months). However if you google it even serial number starts with 601 has bootloop issue reported.
One user here will tell you there is no problem, but all other users will tell you don't get this phone. Google g4 bootloop and you will see.
If you insist to get one, recommendation is:
1. Get an EXPENSIVE G4 from proper retail outlet that comes with 24 months warranty, and make sure it will cover bootloop issues. Do not get it on internet, most don't come with warranty.
2. Do not root or unlock the bootloader, LG will void your warranty.
3. Continuously sync your data on cloud as back up to prepare bootloop comes up anytime.
4. Have a back up mobile phone so you still can use it when the G4 dies.
IMHO, it just not worth it. I prefer reliability, I would never get this phone...
