Bought it last june 3, 2015 and experience boot loop sept 4 2015. And again same problem now. They replace it last sept 2015 but not they will repair using recondition board. I dont think its enough. They should make a recall on all g4 since there is an issue on quality. Poor g4 buyers/owners.
Jim , 15 Sep 2016Mine finally gave up the ghost very disappointed. We should file complaint to DTI. They sell low quality product. We should unite.
LG is so irresponsible on addressing their problem on g4. They should make a recall to all their g4 units since it is proven that there is an issue eversince. Is there anyone here who can write letter of complaint to DTI requesting to order LG to make a recall on all g4 units. It is not enough just to repair the unit, they should give us quality product since what we paid is a hard earned money. To all g4 owners let us unite.

LG has committed to fix the bootloop problem, if it occurs even past the warranty period. If they did not do this, no one would ever buy an LG product, if they did any research. Look at what Samsung is doing with the S7 note.
I have had almost every reported issue with my LG G4 since I purchased it a year ago. First it was the bootloop (which was covered under warranty). Next was some touchscreen issue where the phone refuses to "wake up" no matter what I do; tap, swipe, power button, etc. I have found the fastest way to get the screen on is to plug in the power supply or pull the battery and restart. Now I am dealing with a new issue where I get the prompt's "unfortunately, camera has stopped" and/or "unfortunately, call has stopped". No telling what else will go wrong before I can upgrade through Sprint!
I've tried factory resets, firmware updates, safe mode startups, stopping the problem apps and clearing system cache's, and anything else I have been advised to do only to realize that this phone has a mind of it's own.
Needless to say, this will be my last LG product. I had a LG G3 prior that had touchscreen issues. I was hoping that all was worked out on the G4, but apparently not.
