The 1st one was stolen and the last 2 phones have either crashed or froze on me.. Sprint ny the way is telling me i cant switch phones cause of my contract but guess what i will not be with sprint when my contract is up
After 1/2 week at a service, with that bootloop/not wanting to start problem, they gave me a Galaxy S6 to replace the G4... bb G4.
AnonD-484980, 27 Jun 2016No boot loop dear mine use it since last year.dont believe in every troller here It's not trolling. The G4 is a great phone and I'd recommend it to anyone, but the same thing happened to my LG G4 H815 and I'm stuck in a bootloop. LG will repair this hardware fault under warranty at no cost.
This is apparently less likely to be a problem with hardware revision 1.1, so my advice to potential buyers would be to ensure that they get a very recent version of this phone and confirm the hardware rev is 1.1, if possible. There are also a couple of more technical fixes you can carry out yourself, if you want to, but the safest way is to get LG to replace the motherboard.
failed after 4 months. returned it for repair. Now they are saying they cant get the part needed for another two weeks. Really expected LG products to be much more reliable. Customer service was not responsive. Do not bother with LG
Honestly I just got this phone today and I'm already hating it, it has terrible battery life and the phone overgeats, also it takes over 8 hours to charge fully do not buy this phone cannot wait until my lease is up so I can get a new phone
A classic example how to loose a happy customer. I bought this phone for myself and my 2 nephews. We all loved the phone. After the latest automatic Andriod upgrade on the AT&T network, the phone started crashing/freezing/rebooting. I will not buy LG again.
Switching back to Samsung.
Hi,LG G4 users.
I`d like to ask you if you have received 6,0 upgrade on your phones yet or not??
Thanks in advance :)
Worth it! Its my first time having a brand new phone since 2009. Most of my phones I bought lately are used items. And this LG G4 is worth it. I loved Samsung units too but I kind of get bored and same stuff all over. The only issue is the battery life which I suspiciously is the marshmallow OS.
Terrible phone. I had it for a year and it suddenly decided to stop working... battery was already weak after 2 months. TERRIBLE QUALITY.
After 6 months, mainboard failed according to the service guy, and had it replaced.
After another 6 months, exact same symptom. not gonna go with it.
Almost 6 month after and still love this phone. No issues at all. Battery life is amazing. Usually i got bored by a new phone in 2,3 month, this one exceeds my expectations. The only issue is that in Canada the carriers block fm radio to force us to use and pay for data. But with 2gb data plan and Canada wide unlimited i think is decent enough!
This is the worst phone I have ever had. Overheating is awful and battery life is the worst. I am constantly switching out the batteries and I can't even plug my phone in to charge it without it overheating.
if you are going to buy LG G4, so bu be ready for motherboard problem. It is widespread problem.
P.S. You can't find any motherboard :)
Got a 380.38MB update, still marshmellow, it said improved battery performance and goggle patch... (H815)...Updated it, its real..battery life was really good before but now its even better..So nice
Anonymous, 02 Jul 2016I really like this phine but,Bootloop issue, and Battery holdong me back I am also considering ... moreXperia phones last a long time, but a bit expensive and have relatively weak cameras (software processing is a weak point). Whichever phone you choose to buy, just keep away from LG (bad quality control)
