Tbh this is the best phone LG ever DESIGNED，from g2 and g3 this is the best one.. The feeling of the back buttons and how they are jointed is excellent..The leather is the real deal...there is no playing around the design of this phone plus the display is mind blowing.AFTER SEEING MY FRIENDS LG G5 DISPLAY.It is a quite shameful to see they made the LG G5 display worse ..There is no doubt this is the closest thing to am OLED u will ever get..LG took their time to build a masterpiece.after Marshallow the experience is even better..it is a shame some of you have bootloop issue.. Been using mine since october...This is a very addictive phone..Its hard not to deny its greatness..By far the best phone i ever had..not changing anytime soon
This phone is great once you load cyanogenmod :-)
LG have great customer service. I bricked mine loading cyanogenmod and it was fixed and mailed back to me with in 2 weeks. I bought it from Woot.com referb.
LG G4 is the greatest phone I ever had. I bought a qualcom quick charge wall adaptor and powerbank to charge 75% quicker than the standard adaptor and powerbank，battery can fully charge a dead phone in 20min. I have the dualsim version of G4 that have an advantage to new phone today which a hybrid simslots (i.e.G5 and S7).The main disadvantage of hybrid SIM slot is that it limits your phone functionality i.e. you can either use your smartphone as a dual SIM phone or you can expand the storage through microSD card. You can cannot use both these features simultaneously which is a major drawback of hybrid SIM slot.
The phone is horrible and LG will not respond to any repair request or emails i would not have a nother one. I would tell anyone to stay away from this phone its not worth ot at all. I am very unhappy with it.
I am using it since a month. I love this phone. everything is very nice with this phone.
Awesome camera, speed and ok battery life.
best smart phone.
Marley, 05 Jul 2016Honestly I just got this phone today and I'm already hating it, it has terrible battery life a... moreDo you guys get paid by Samsung to write this kind of fake & useless stuff? Stop playing with people's minds. The phone is really great. I've owned an LG G4 for almost 6 months and its an amazing device.
Finally my LG G4 failed too. Yes, that bootloop thing happened. In my oppinion LG G4 was a greak phone with an amazing camera but due to these mainboard malfunction due to overheating (aka bootloop) and ghostscreen issues this phone is definitely not worth for buying. Mine lived 9 months. At first failure request your money from dealer by a service report. Now I am using LG G5, I hope same things will not happen to this new phone.
AnonD-557165, 06 Jul 2016It's not trolling. The G4 is a great phone and I'd recommend it to anyone, but the same thing ... moreMy advice, just to be on the safe side, is to avoid buying the G4 entirely. Unless you want to gamble that you'll get a non defective phone. The G4 is a time bomb.
G4 is an awful and ridiculous phone. I bought the phone during the 2015 summer and it did no take long before it starts force closing apps and rebooting by itself. I absolutely do not recommend LG G4; there are better places for you to waste your money.
battery is draining too fast.tried various battery optimiser.still the same.becoming hot,at the top of the phone.what should I do?
Yudi, 05 Jul 2016A classic example how to loose a happy customer. I bought this phone for myself and my 2 nephe... moreThis will ne my 3rd G4 PHONE... The 1st one was stolen and the last 2 phones have either crashed or froze on me.. Sprint ny the way is telling me i cant switch phones cause of my contract but guess what i will not be with sprint when my contract is up
After 1/2 week at a service, with that bootloop/not wanting to start problem, they gave me a Galaxy S6 to replace the G4... bb G4.
AnonD-484980, 27 Jun 2016No boot loop dear mine use it since last year.dont believe in every troller here It's not trolling. The G4 is a great phone and I'd recommend it to anyone, but the same thing happened to my LG G4 H815 and I'm stuck in a bootloop. LG will repair this hardware fault under warranty at no cost.
This is apparently less likely to be a problem with hardware revision 1.1, so my advice to potential buyers would be to ensure that they get a very recent version of this phone and confirm the hardware rev is 1.1, if possible. There are also a couple of more technical fixes you can carry out yourself, if you want to, but the safest way is to get LG to replace the motherboard.
failed after 4 months. returned it for repair. Now they are saying they cant get the part needed for another two weeks. Really expected LG products to be much more reliable. Customer service was not responsive. Do not bother with LG
