This phone has aged weirdly.
I would more of call this a heater rather than a phone
It gives me 60fps on PUBG on HD settings but it gets real hot and the battery only lasts close to 4 hours but its not only on games this thing heats up, even being on the home screen it heats up and very quickly too. The battery only lasts close to 6 hours or less I do not really like this phone it can take some great pictures but that's all I would say is good about this phone.

asda, 31 Dec 2022I had problem with display burn in, and on replaced one again same problemits not burn in its just temporary goasting which just fades away in a minute or so
in my opinion its not that big of a deal

I know, I've experienced LCD burn in befor... moreof course, but they said it as if the burn in was super heavy and noticeable, which is almost impossible to achieve, unless you're leaving it on the same exact image for several years at a time.

Honestly, the design of this phone where the bottom would come off was a really smart design. Obviously removable battery is a plus, but if the USB-C port broke, you could just swap out that bottom piece and then you've replaced the USB-C port. I really wish other flagships of the time like the Galaxy S7 and the original Pixel used this design.

This was a great 4G LTE phone. The only problem that makes me now to search for a new phone is that the Focus doesn't work on the main camera, it's like stuck on Macro mode. It wouldn't be a problem if I could choose the wide angle camera in app (e.g. taking photos for depositing checks online) but when I choose the bank app it goes automatically to the bad camera so I can't successfully submit a check to my bank. I am wondering if this is a software glitch and could be fixed by factory resetting but I can't afford that before I get a new one.

I bought an A grade refurbished G5 back in 2020. Biggest mistake. Returned it next day. Screen burnin, overheating and throttling making phone too slow, worst battery ever, sometimes won't boot unless I remove and put battery again, bad gps signal, etc
I bought a Xiaomi Redmi 9 for 130$ new instead, best purchase. Best battery ever, 5020mah, etc Still going strong, planning to keep it for another 2yrs.

Battery is not that good. I had to get rid of one of my favorite apps because the battery just couldnt handle it. Once in a while if I dont use it for almost the entire day then I use it at the end of the day it sometimes I have to tap the on button a few times for it to turn on. I've had it for 6 years it still works surprisingly.

in my country, Indonesia, i don't have problem with battery because in the market has a tons of DOUBLE POWER battery made by local company,, my LG G5 using 5600mah by Vizz battery (local product)

I had this phone years back when it came out. Battery life was OK at first but after 4 months, it drained the battery so fast it became pretty much useless.
