Are there any heating issues with the G5? I'm not happy with my G4 since the CPU gets really hot after just a few minutes of mobile data or Wi-Fi browsing. I am getting rid of it.
I think this is a good phone but range is very hign and in this range not supported volte network very badly and camera quility not good from oppo phone and finger print sensor is not good back side i think touch acssec on fornt sjde is very better for this phone

Several friends of mine who had g2 and g3 faced yellow spots on screen after few months of usage and even after replacement the yellow spots reappeared in different places. G4 however does not face this problem excluding the wellknown bootloop but I did not face that so far on mine. G5 is a great overall phone ( friend that owned g3 upgraded to g5) with best features on market atm but it is way 2 large for my taste. I mean even if its thinner than g4 , g5 is even longer than g4. Well since it has ir blaster maybe we should name it the remote smartphone cauz its big like a smart tv remote.

I had G seriers of LG since three years now. Currently i have G5 and previously i had G4, G3 and G2. I have never faced any problem with non of them!
This phone was at the top of my list as LG has fantastic features and an awesome overall package. The #1 reason I am not going to buy the phone is the reliability problems of my previous 3 LG devices. My first LG purchase was an LG G2, which was awesome. Then I upgraded to the LG G3 and bought two of these. August 2015, after only 8 months, the display went out from a manufacturing defect. I received the replacement free from Verizon as it was under warranty. Now in July of 2016 the replacement has the same problem. Back in November of 2016 one of my children who was using the G2 noticed the display defect on that device. So, I've had pretty much the identical issue on 3 high-end LG devices which pretty much means I cannot support this company any longer as reliability is essential for these high-end devices- please give us at least 3 years.
I still think feature-wise the LG G5 is only really missing water/dust proof capability.
great phone
moved from note 5
very satisfied
great perfect 8 mp camera for landscapes
but only one question
first there was 2 options at dial pad
green for sim 1
red for sim 2
after small update only 1 grean for sim one and i have to pull down the notification bar to change between 2 sims ..
any help??

As to why that is, I would say it is mainly down to the flawed 'modularity' aspect. It's was poorly thought out and very badly implemented.
It's a shame as from all other aspects the G5 is a great device that's competes nicely with the completion in a lot of areas.
Its now safe to reckon that this phone has failed, LG has fired its lead designer, as it has failed the expectations, failed the sale numbers, failed to gain the customers respect, failed to make an impact. The only field that didnt fail, was the early reviews that created those expectations and gave that false sentiment of superiority, i wonder what was it, the push from earlier LG flagships, or some bribing?
There some reasons it hase some poor sales
Design-people would rather choose to show the antenna to have a premium feel instead of plasticy paint and the camera
Modularity-people dont want the idea of turning it off and back on and the Moto Z has so much better modularity and Mpto Z can support 3rd party modules
UX-people love the app drawer and the ux is cartoony
Battery-so poor and people just buy the S7,S7 edge,P9,HTC 10,Mi5 and many more flagships
Im a LG fan but now bye bye Lg im a HTC,Huawei,Xiaomi, and Samsung Fan

Wouldnt call the LCD screen future proof in any way, im torn between this the nexus 6p and the huawei p9! nice to read some good owner reviews for this handset though.
Any one got Root LG G5 H860? I have this phone and I can share about the features of this phone
Excellent phone. Only drawback I have found is the screen has spotted and I have no idea how.
I dont have any regret buying this phone, in fact i am very very very proud owner...i have in my hand the future proof phone and being followed by many brands, till next year with all the same features included plus water proofing...thanks lg...
Yeah new techno smartphone from LG.. New era is coming.. LG G5 and another brand Moto Z break the rules!!
thaied, 20 Jul 2016Nice. thats the way it should be but I get no msg's no popup's and no win10 driver that works.... moreDo phones even need drivers these days? I thought everything was plug & play

Then you can gain access to the the phones internal memory or sd card and just drag and drop files/music/video etc to and from the phone.
