LG is nothing but a cheap liar!
Metal unibody means a single-piece body made entirely of metal, not a multiple-piece body made of partial metal and partial plastic. Their claim is false and misleading.
And now, after the temperature tests, performance drops a whopping 40% after only 20 minutes of usage. What a joke!
NO waterproof on a flagship device in 2016?! Are you stupid LG??

Battery is very small and you need to carry with you the spares. Hahaha!
You'd have to pay me to use this phone!
The ONLY good thing is that it has is the USB-C..
If the G5 would be a movie, I would give it the golden raspberry award!

I upgrade from the g4 and buy an g5 and i love this phone, the batery is great compared with the g4 is faster and the camera is beter i love the function of the two cameras its ideal for panoramic photos. Its the beter phone i owned

What's the difference between G5 cam and S7 edge ? I heard somethings about the auto focus .
I hope you could help me I'm thinking of buying G5. Even thought the battery life is horrible .

According to gsmarena, battery endurance rating for L... moreit is not a downgrade really, if you look into the capacity of both batteries, plus the screen difference on resolution but take note, the upgrade is that G5 can quick charge from 0-83% in just 30 minutes, compared to samsungs S7 0-60% and HTCS 0-50% in 30 minutes.

Everything perfect, except battery life. According to gsmarena, battery endurance rating for LG G2 is 81h vs 60h for LG G5. That's a huge downgrade !!!

P, 08 Apr 2016i totally agree with you mate...i was a massive fan of G2, G3 and G4...i had the G3 for 2 year... moreIs it true that the edge panels pop up when holding the phone causing a nuisance? I read that when you hold the phone other Windows or apps will open if you don't hold the phone just right. Also I heard the touch wiz sucks along w the finger print sensor??? I'm not happy w some of the g5 changes either. I'm trying to weigh out my options bc which ever phone I get I will be stuck w for the next 2 years

I just got the g5 today. I did the black screen bleed test on my vzw unit, no issues there, but the screen does distort on less than forceful presses. It's prominent on the left half of the screen. Other than that it seems fine, but will probably be returned and I'll wait out these first early batches.

Removable battery is important feature because li ion battery life cycle is max 3 years after that its efficiency will decrease. The quick charging feature will also effects the battery life cycle as it generates heat while charging . For some people a flagship phone like this is one time investment that shold last more than 3 years.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2016Yeah its true!...lg is the best quality in camera performance. I love lg smartphones.I agree with your opinion that LG camera smartphone is very good for capturing picture in bright and low light place.
Now I use LG V10 , it is also an awesome camera phone. .it's pictures look beautiful.
I will buy one more maybe LG G5 or Samsung Galaxy S4.
