For those that have got the G5 please could you tell me whether it can be set to 2g only in the mobile networks options.
That's a very important thing for me and I can do that on my G4 but would I be able to do it on the G5 to,?

I'm definitely... moreAccording to this site there will be a dual-SIM version, and unlike the Galaxy S7 the second SIM won't take over the SD card spot. Many of the recent high-end Android phones have had dual-SIM variants, though you may have needed to look outside your country to find them. The problem is whether they cover the frequencies you need.

There's a couple of unboxing videos of the G5 up on YouTube and the build quality is not good fresh out of the box and that's a disappointment,LG Where's quality control,??
Android police review absolutely slates the G5 also.
The G5 could turn out to be a lemon but I hope it doesn't and I so was gona buy one but I may get a V10 now instead.

I just saw 'dual sim' mentioned here. Is this REALLY a dual sim/dual LTE phone? I'm definitely buying one if that is the case. Usually I only find dual sim smartphones in the low budget Android phone category with limited features and old Android non-upgradable OS.

the only downside of this phone, they didn't implement a hotswap battery or something like hybernation (on pc) with fast restart. i mean hotswap battery would have been smartphone killer !

Phone only and the charger!!!!Well you know. I always buy a smartphone and store the charger and the headset in the box since majority who upgrade phones or buy better products like headphones are less likely to use the charger or the headphoens. I have like 5 chargers from many different phones over the time and one or two highend headphone I use throughout the years.
Anker 5 port charger is very useful replacing all the chargers I use.
