AnonD-519071, 26 Mar 2016confused.what does this mean only one 2nd SIM or ne micro SD for storage ? The micro SD is o... moreIf you look at this site's information on the Samsung Galaxy S7 (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s7-7821.php), under "Memory" -> "Card slot" -> "microSD, up to 200 GB (uses SIM 2 slot) - dual-SIM model".

My understanding is on the dual-SIM version of the S7 there is only a single card slot. This slot can accommodate *either* a second SIM *or* an SD card, not both at the same time. What "Lord" was claiming was the LG G5 is exactly like this and cannot have a second SIM and a SD card at the same time. According to this site though, "microSD, up to 200 GB (dedicated slot)", so they think otherwise. I'm curious about "Lord"'s source, but "Lord" could simply be confusing things or merely trying to smear LG.

This is why Samsung is moving to the top chain. They learn and improve their products. I had G2 and currently using G4. Lg makes good phones, but they bad with the battery life!!! G5 has 7.5 hrs of web? Come on man!!!! No, we are not going to use the camera module for bigger battery capacity. dam it LG! I'm through with LG.

Is this fixed uplink and downlink frequencies in the phone for the country your buying from; or is this in the Sim card setup ? Each provider in my area could have a differnt setup; requireing different frequencies for 3G. 4G is all 1800~~

AnonD-505364, 24 Mar 2016Yes it s active. You sure about that? Under "BODY" -> "SIM" -> "Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by)", which indicates this site thinks otherwise. Technology has advanced and full active-mode dual-SIM is much cheaper now, but dual-standby is even cheaper. Any source you can cite for this information?

Ok so after much deliberation between the G5 and S7 i decided to pull the trigger on the G5. Not my kind of thing of getting a phone pre-ordered without actually playing on it for a while but went with it anyway as there was an amazing deal at Best Buy. Basically got the phone for $50. Hopefully i did the right thing but we will see. From the spec sheets and early reviews it looks pretty impressive compared to the S7. Will update when it comes in.

Wasn't planning of changing phones but my beloved M8 charging port started to act up and doesn't always want to charge the phone. Was thinking bout waiting for HTC10 but not really a fan of the home buttons on the bottom as they tend to press in the pocket from my experience.
