I have a G3 and really like it - it's the most customizable phone on the market. But even i have to admit that this year there is no competition for S7 and S7 Edge. They are pretty much the best phones on the market. Simple...

Children please the galaxy S7 and 7 edge are not perfect but they are far better and way better looking than the ugly LG G5 ,that thing looks like a cheap import from China.Watch and see which one will sell much better. You can hate Samsung all you want which is fine because you have the right to but the fact of the matter is Lg is not close to be to the level of Samsung.

The technology, 6.0 and SD820 are going to be SIGNIFICANTLY better in life to its predecessors.

I think lg g5 is better than the S7

it will not last as long as s7 but it will do, maybe half an hour is the difference or 1 our more. But I'm sure it will last at least 7h that's more than lg g5 with 6h usage and u can full it at 45-50 minutes with qualcomm 3.0 charger. lgg5 will not be defeated by sg s7 easiliy because lg has superior software and it will be a beast, Sg s7 will only beat lg with its camera and nthg else.

I like the specifications of this phone. Is it having a feature (like the "Ultra Power Saving Mode" with Samsung) that helps long the battery life.?

yes , it's have tiny battery. But It will longer life than S7. If your battery down you cant change in S7. But you can change battery in G5 with quick charge 3.0

I was waiting eight months to have a mobile phone from LG with Snapdragon SOC 820.

You'll be able to use the G5 with plenty of battery left, and it you want to charge it, it'll only take a few minutes to get another full day of power.

Get a case for your phone that you like. Problem solved. There's more people that use cases than those that don't.
And the battery is smaller, but it's also removable. And there's obviously going to be modular battery upgrades. Don't forget that it's also a USB Type C and charged incredibly fast. So if you're at 10%, charge it, wait 10 minutes and you'll be at 70%. And lastly, you can't complain about the battery size because a bigger capacity doesn't always mean longer life. This phone might actually manage battery consumption better than the S7.
