Its successor was G3, it became ... moreNice lecture, but I'm sorry to say that you don't know how to use smartphone smartly I don't have G3 but have G4 &G Pro, G pro for business, G4 for daily use I commute between two cities I leave at 7am, and back 6.30~7pm, I got 12~15%battery left,(running on lollipop ) after updating to Marshmallow it's 20~25% how I got that much endurance due to Greenify in
Doze mode Greenify work more aggressively I am heavy user 4~4.5 hours on screen while traveling so learn to use smartphone smartly dear, big battery not always means good endurance, battery endurance = how you optimizing your device

i don't know if anyone has posted this before but was wondering does it have the knock on feature? g4 had issues with this feature. i owned g3 and g4 both.

LG G2, was perfect, that was the phone that made us love LG.
Its successor was G3, it became bigger, kept the same battery capacity and added some gimmick resolution that consumed twice as much, many of us were burned there and then.
G4 was taller than the G3, but had no bigger screen, or better battery endurance. LG advertised the camera and all suddenly ppl cared about was that, very few of us have criticized the backstep that was made in screen to body ratio. A phone should not be only judged by one feature and the rest should not be sacrificed covers, just one feature.
Yet all what ppl was talking is if S6 or Z5 had 1% better or worse camera...
And its time to pay, the G5 has grown even bigger than G4, yet it has a smaller screen estate and a smaller battery capacity and now the only thing that matters is the removable battery and modules, just because LG advertised that.
Sometimes i wonder if the ppl posting here have a mind of their own and needs of their own and priorities of their own, or they only care for what the companies happen to serve as priorities this time.
LG has failed a great share of ppl that dont want to carry a 15cm, just for a G2 screen, nor wont to invest time and miney to buy multiple batteries and chgarge them, or carry chargers and batterybanks. I used to try my G3 2 or 3 times per day, i was forced to buy another battery and gone to the daily hussle of removing covers (and once broke one connection) charging a battery, then again for the other rinse and repeat.
Should i consider this an advantage over all and should pay extra cash for a bulky and expensive module or secondary battery??
Really, have you convinced yr selves that this is the only advantage that matters and makes the G5 the best choice out there?
I aprecciate the innovative ideas of the modules, but they have at a great expense, this phone will be the bulkiest flagship with smallest display and battery, LG must be punished for this not commended again, because if we poraiuse them again, the G6 will come at 15.5cm, with a 5.1 inch screen and 2500mah...

people, you have rights to comment. But please don't comment without reason. some people tell this phone ugly and they are not giving reason for that. I know most of commenters like to promote S7. But true is G5 better than S7.

Bkz I have tab s 8.4 LTE, After updating it to lollipop it's battery endurance decrease in comparison with kitkat so enhance your knowledge dear before giving lecture

Its obvious GUI is best ever since I am in SW testing. Best Smartphone.

I use lg g3 its display quality is fantastic and i even eagerly waiting to hands on lg g5 its friends are also taken the major part in it

Putting a bigger capacity fuel tank in your car wouldn't solve the problems if your car is a gas guzzler. Look for efficient engines instead of bigger fuel tank. Same logic applies, as long as G5 software is extremely optimized, the 2800 mah battery will be good.
It has quickcharge 3.0 and replaceable battery so I don't know why people are complaining about smaller battery capacity??
