Some live photos and cases of lg g5 shows that the volume buttons are in back with fingerprint sensor..
And other live photos and cases also show these buttons at sides !!!! Whats this???
lg g5 Phone of the year.
I believe S7 won't take the crown this year. They are trying too hard to be like iphone
yiannis550, 25 Jan 2016It will also have ESS DAC and amplifier Source plz??
The relative small group of people that really use and like phones that have the size of a mini tablet runs thinner every month. Most of them already have one by now.
The biggest group that just wants a phone that is more durable, lighter and an inch or so smaller with decent battery life is not going to forgive LG this time.
LG please release the G5 in 2 sizes, 5.6" and 5". You are the only company that ignore such a FACT that people have different choices in terms of screen sizes. Your G4 Beat is indeed small but you also downgraded the specs its's a useless phone. Look at Iphone in different sizes, the Z5 series and S6 with Note5. LG only has 5.5 and thought it is a huge trend now bigger screen. Hmmm.
TOR, 02 Jan 2016I propose improvements compared with G4: Better battery Fast Battery Charging 4gb ram 820 ... moreI want to know when wil the LG G5 will be released in South Africa I am interested I Have a Samsung Note 4 and it freeze allot and sometimes it give me a black screen but I'm happy with the battery and have n memory card slot and the Samsung Note 5 don't have one and the LG G4 is doing good I'm selling cellphones and there are already clients that whant that phone can you tell me Maby when we will get it.Thank you.
There are no LTE bands specified in the specification.
Which LTE bands, does this phone support?
Will it support Band 3(1800) and Band 40(2300) ?
When we are talking about CPU, then only the single core performance is what matters. Because most Android programs and games are single threaded (for example the most CPU intensive programs are the emulators (DosBox, PPSSPP, ...), they use mainly 1 core only).
Multicore benchmarks are brainwashing gimmicks for the ignorants. In real world, you will NEVER use all cores at 100%, so you will never experience the benefit of 8 cores.
And when we are talking about GPU, then only the on-screen benchmark is what matters. Because only that measures the real world performance.
The idiot phone manufacturers and brainwashed consumers, article authors think phones need QHD screen resolution. But in fact, it's pointless for phones. 720p is perfectly enough for phones. (Don't forget that Samsung phones have Amoled display. They have PenTile subpixes which makes it pixelated, so they need higher resolution to hide the pixelation. It's another reason along with burn-in problems, why IPS LCD is better.)
techlover1, 16 Jan 2016I agree with you my friend, you're right. It will be better and probably it will really be the... morelg g5 has a function of usb otg and a microsoft or windows like nokia? and also has 3 slots for dual sim and micro sd slot and can read 2 tb like lgv10?
tudy555, 18 Jan 2016It is rumored it will be a 2.6ghz cpu not 2.2,my LG G2 has 2.2 right nowYes,even with 1 GHz dual core SD820 still beats your 2.2 GHz quad core ( fast but old ) SD800.
Look at geekbench 3 results of SD800 vs 801 vs 810,even GHz are lower, the single and multi core performance are still better on SD810 and will be even a lot better on 820.Because there are a lot of other things that affects the performance ( 64bit architecture, bigger L caches, memory speed and bandwidth etc)
