i'm boycotting models especially flagships with such timid battery. what is this lg, 2010? putting weak battery only to slim down the phone for 1 mm is idiotic. we want strong batteries finally!!!!!
Maybe anyone knows how much does a battery cost for it? P.S. I'm talking about the normal and NOT the +1200mAh thing.
AnonD-505240, 21 Feb 2016Capacity is not relevant. Soft. optimisation isBut of course there won't be a soft software
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2016It charges 83% in half an hour, isn't that good enuf?Sorry, but there are no places to charge outside.
isn't it 2800Amh battery is so poor selection while most of flagship phones are providing 4000Amh batteries???
no amoled screen, low capacity battery, design not great at all the g4 had better design.. LG should have done better, the dual camera setup was the only impressive thing about the G5.
Why gsmarena remove the iris scanner from the spec.!!!
Is this feature not found in G5???
Plz anyone answer me
AnonD-249050, 21 Feb 2016I can pocketed my Note 5 as wellI can pocketed my Note5 with a case.
George, 20 Feb 2016Now they took off fm radio? LG had all flagships with radio usually. Now what happened? They ... moreDon't worry it has fm radio ,i just check in you tube and it is there so don't worry.
I agree with the gentleman who mentioned the big screen to be bothersome..
I would like the screen to be below 5 inches, and the breadth to be below 70mm
lol, 21 Feb 2016My bet is that when the 1st phone manufacturer will finally reach 100% display to body ratio, ... moreYes, right ! G3 is bigger than G2 but have a 5.5 display - ok. With this display G5 must be a same or smaller than G2. I am very disappointed now...
modular design is a real innovation.till now only project ara or some kickstarters hv only prototypes nuthing in market.lg is the only major manufacturer that is now actually selling a smartphone with some level of modular features. this thing gonna attract many people
Shape dont have the oomph factor. g series were always gorgious but g5 aint. im not tokin abt the lack of rear volume rocker.u hv to make compromises for removable btry n thats understandbl..its just the shape lacks the oomph but its not bad either.
G series always had a very high screen to body ratio but its not the case wid g5.
Even though its a removable btry but 2800 mAh is pretty low when we have 4000mAh like redmi note 3. not everyone will carry a spare battery. wud it b a galaxy wid 2800mAh n amoled it wud acceptable coz samsung is just tooooo gud with optimizing btry n obviously amoled helps.
Overall its a THUMBS UP device
Corry, 21 Feb 2016If you wish to see movies then you can use your tablet. When we speak mobile phone then 4.6 in... moreYeah...I have an LG G3 and it seems ok to small to me...the reason is that I surf the Internet, play games, listen to music, watch movies, chat and do virtually everything technology related with my mobile phone.I do have an expensive desktop PC, but the convenience of moving around and not be stationed in one place is irreplaceable for me.If you depend on a phone for all your technological needs, you need it to be something more than just a phone. Also you want it to have a big screen so you do not squeeze your eyes for about 6 hours a day.Now as far as fitting in my pocket is concerned,I found it more convenient to just buy some jeans with huge pockets. XD
Corry, 21 Feb 2016If you wish to see movies then you can use your tablet. When we speak mobile phone then 4.6 in... moreThis is not a problem. I have LG G3 and Lg G4 both have 5,5 screen and they are very confortable in the pocket and in hands. The LG G5 is smaller, it has 5,3. So...
I am a proud owner of lg g4. I like everything about lg g4. But what they did with g5, is horrible. No back buttons and the UI omg. Sucks big time. No dual window, No dedicated app drawer. Feels like lg is trying to become more like cheap chinese brands. They just ruined it this time.
