i have an lg g5 rs988 the phone came with 7.0 preloaded had no chance to test it on 6.0 but for some reason when playing fpse ( ps one emulator ). having the bin or isos on sd card some times it freeze for less than a second and then continues running fine and after a while do it again. my sd card is fine for speed it is a u3 v30 standard and was ok on android 6.0 on my previous lg g4.
has any one experienced an issue like this with the particular emulator .....

My lgh850 is almost 2 years old. Yes battery don't last ( 5 To 6 hours). Speaker sound is starting to be not as good. This about the only 2 negatives about my lg g5 if they are. Because l can recharge my phone in just over a minute and at change speaker on the same time. New battery and chin bottom et voilà! No other phone can do it. I never ran out of power or look for a plug even on long flight. The phone almost look like new even i drop it more time i can remember. Glassy phone cannot say the same thing. It never freeze or fail on me. Just need a bit of maintenance (smart clean, delete unwanted filed, transfert photos,do backup, etc...). Phone quality: unlockable bootloader (will do after oreo) , fast, good screen, tough, can open phone from screen if sit on table), good photos, superb sound, and many more.
Conclusion: this phone will still be good for many years to go. Pieces are easy to change (no glue) this include : battery, speaker, power button, camera, screen, black plate,etc... All this by yourself ( cheap labour).
IS THIS ENOUGH TO CONVINCE YOU LG G5 (H850) IS STILL THE TOP PHONE.
forgot to tell you i'm canadian and paid 35% less during Brexit. What a steal!

I love my G5. It is fast, good camera, video, etc....the battery might not be the best but it is still manageable. If I traval, then I bring my portable battery pack with me, no problem.

Still LG G5 is my darling, very worth buying phone, 555 PPI screen, removable battery, IR blaster, NFC, Super dual cameras, speaker is very clear and boom, I love LG G5. Battery may 2800mah but I can swipe when required(experienced at utmost important time) thanks LG, I REALY FEEL THAT THE PEOPLE ARE DONKY HEADED WHO REFUSE OR REJECT LG G5,

Sahir, 08 Apr 2018Please does lg g5 have bootloop issue??any one here??Bootloop on the G5 is not as common like the G4, but there are another issues with this phone like the screen ghost on the LCD, GPS losing signal, the autofocus on the camera stop working and lower quality build like the battery holder lock failing off.

Build quality questionable. Audio jack stopped working after 16 months. The lock for battery holder became loose after about 18 months (it means you are loosing the microphone unexpectedly during conversation). The additional attachment: camera controler with an additional battery stopped working after 1 yr. Otherwise, the unit is/was performing well.

You need to use a small copper wire to make contact between the back cover of the G5 and the GPS antenna.

3rd April 2018, the best phone Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) ever and can easily beat the G6. Best video recording in low light thanks to its 16M. Yes the battery is not that good if you buy a second hand like i did but will last half day for daily usage without gaming on a single charge. 0-100% in 1 hour! the GPS is easily fix by lifting the "pins" connector up a little bit for better contact.
