For those who are considering this phone or the HTC 10 I'd say go for the G5 it murders the HTC 10 on everything except build quality but I reckon the G5 build quality though isn't that bad.
As for sound quality I lined up and put my G5 and HTC 10 on YouTube and put them both on the same video and had them both at maximum volume and my G5 absolutely drowned out my HTC 10 completely,it murdered it.
The G5 is such a underrated brilliant smartphone.
My lg g5 camera after upgrading to android 7 is realy bad in low light. Pictures are very dark, even wide angle lens photos look brighter. Has anyone experienced the same??
Who knows how I can revert to Marshmallow from Nougat should please help. I have LG G5 but so many stuffs are not running smoothly for me on Nougat. Notification for key apps have siezed, requiring checks manually all the time. Some apps have stopped working completely. I'm in London. Thank you.
I am from the Philippines and I have the dual sim version (H860) and just updated it to Nougat. All good so far though image retention is still there. Installed a blue light filter, it was gone for a while and now it's back again. :(
Thinking of just selling it and buy an S7 unless someone can help to get rid of that image retention.
dpk8666, 14 Jan 2017your software version is V20A-AME-XX and we Indian official unit has currently V10M-IND-XX and... moreAlright guys the AME version should actually represent Africa & Middle East, not America. That's the version being sold in Nigeria and the UAE I think. I've had the Nougat OTA (yes) update on the H860 AME variant downloaded for weeks now. The I haven't installed yet, for some reason I don't even know. Maybe I'm not so eager.
I guess a Nougat update isn't yet ready for India. Hard luck.

dpk8666, 14 Jan 2017Lg is going very bad, they should Push the update immediately. Just waiting waiting and still ... moreYeah I guess it's their damn strategy to promote the Lgv20 with Nougat.... Coz everything else is same in both the phones...I say this is cheating.
Mudaliar, 14 Jan 2017heights guys....everywhere the 7.0 Nougat update is out except India....why is LG doing like this??Lg is going very bad, they should Push the update immediately. Just waiting waiting and still waiting. poor Lg. if it goes like this i will never buy LG mobile any more and i am sticking to LG from LG G2 to LG G5. and guess what LG G2 was the best phone and G2 is currently running smoothly now also without any Glitches.
[deleted post]your software version is V20A-AME-XX and we Indian official unit has currently V10M-IND-XX and when android 7.0 arrives it will be V20A-IND-XX, here AME is american and IND as indian, you will also not get Warranty in India. if anything happens to your phone you need to go to American LG service point. here you will also not get spare parts . some one sold you a IMPORTED model. you can check on my given official link below -
just add your IMEI number at the last of the link and hit enter your phone details will show up. from Below see fourth line , if you have indian official unit it will show IND
if american model
AME or something else in between buyer.
Best of Luck .....

Off the always on display ...
"Blue Light Filter" from Simple Design ltd. and set the intensity to 5% with a color temperature of 1800K. You will notice pretty much no difference in the screen and there is no impact on your battery life.
Fazzzzz, 13 Jan 2017H 860 ... U can refer this for proof http://pho.to/AaXaVThanks for replying back yaar... Now I know ur saying the truth...but ur phone is not the Indian model... It's American model. That's the reason.
DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. After a month, it began to slow down and everything was lagging. My photos are stored to Google Photos and I don't use battery and memory hogging apps, so its not because of space.
The real reason this phone is terrible is because about 6 months after purchasing it, it locked me out. Screen just says "Insert supported module to turn your phone on." and I can't do anything else. The web says to blow on it? Like an NES game? Anyway, I was never able to fix it and I'm still not done paying on it. So thanks LG for putting me out 700 bucks. You guys rock.
