Why I cannot upgrade to Android 8.0 in my H860, I could from 6 to 7 but the Andoid 8 upgrade never was available, I read and here it stats that Android 8.0 is available for this model, what should I do?

Here is a problem i got in my phone lg5..only accept 1 chip tigo in tanzania east Africa ( sim card) and doesnt accept another different mobile sim card..this always happen when i trying to use different sim card...i dnt know why....?

like my LMX410 way better. everything's switched up, screen smaller, volume too low, always hitting Google asst. button, off button on side
messes with muscle memory too much. like the old set up better.
switched to Sprint (not impressed not my doing) so the lg5 basically pushed on me. like my other lg better

Simple fix is to buy a new battery that will restore the functionality of all buttons.

thaied, 31 Aug 2020More of a question to see if others had power button problems. I cna't get it on. hold it... moreSame issue. Here is the trick to turning the phone back on. First hold down the up volume button. Then while holding down the up volume button plug the phone into the charger. This should bring up the phone's logo. As soon as you see the logo let go of the volume button and pull out the charger cord. If you do not uplug it fast enough it will take you to a software download screen and you will have to remove the battery and try again. But if you unplug and let go immediately it will boot up.

More of a question to see if others had power button problems. I cna't get it on. hold it awhie and maybe. The batter won't come out. I guess welded itself inside but. What to do. NO the volume/ up-down does nothing.
I call local service shop; They say no service on LG phones Want service; buy a Samsung. YES I have it recorded with the local Pattaya, Chonburi service guy.

It is almost 4 years, I really love LG G5. Although it is old, it is still one of the best phones with a removable battery. I have always 3 backup batteries with me, never run out of battery like other modern phones. I have bought like 16 batteries, the original ones from LG when I felt that the power from batteries was not stable, I just threw them away and bought the new ones. Sadly, LG doesn't upgrade this model anymore.

Phone camera become so poor in low light even in reasonably well light it become so poor when the object is dark color. Anyone experienced same?

paco2x, 26 Dec 2019I would suggest to restore the phone to factory settings and apply any update available.could be due to poor signal causing phone to scan often.

Getting screen burn in. Using a blue light filter app and lowering the brightness helped reduce the ghost images.
