Hey all.. most of the recent comments are promoting s7 & discouraging lg fans.. all recent post were said g5 is worst ugly design low battery capacity same camera(same mega pixels).. for them ill give few examples. Can you get better quality images with sony z1 which is having 21mp.?? So dont concern much about mega pixels. Battery life depends on the performance of phone. So you may concern about endurance ratio.. charging time. also you can use extra battery with g5.. design.. yes lg is changing their design from flagship to flagship...while galxy keeping same design for their every flagship. G5 design may good or bad.. it depends on users pteference. Also i noted that most of bad comments were posted by the users who havent seen g5in their real life. So if you are a s7 fan or a user there is a seperate page for you. Pls dont misguide other people.

:)I will always keep my G4 because it's one of the best phones I have ever had but the G5 is excellent and you can't go wrong with it at all and for those who are thinking of buying it I'd say get a G5 for sure.
Mines been working perfectly and its far better than my HTC 10 which I have also got.

Plz guide me, g5 or HTC 10???
I have been using LG G5 for 4 mothes with Marshmallow. It was awesome on power and performance, but since I have updated to android 7.0 (november version)it's draining my battery.
I have tried all these solutions:
1. Reset all app preferences
2. Clear app cache
3. Reboot a few times
The battery analysis consistently says it's the Android OS eating away the battery.
I have observed that if I am on good wifi, with decent mobile network, the phone behaves. As soon as I go into a room with even slight poor network coverage, the phone goes hot in my pocket. At work, on a mobile network, unless I am next to a window with 5 bars of 4G, the phone goes hot and battery depletes.
I have never seen such a battery drain or phone getting hot before, no circumstances have changes except the Android 7 update. My phone is with Wind Italy.
My questions:
If I factory reset through the hard reset option, can I revert to Marshmallow, which I was happy with?
Many thanks.
AnonD-622668, 25 Dec 2016Does your g5 have aany problem or the biotloop issue? No bootloop issue yet & nither there are any other issues yet on my lg g5..i got use to a bit smaller screen and a bit lighter smartphone now..as was using bigger and heavier note5 before.black leveles on lg g5 is also one of the best on ips screen so i dont miss the deep blacks of note5 screen that much...the only thing i wud complaint abt lg g5 is a hybrid sim slot on lg g5 as there is no dedicated memory card slot for which i had to hack the sim trey to use all 3 cards together ..the hack itself is complicated , risky and cud damange the cards or the phone...may be lg will provide dedicated memory card slot in lg g6 like they have it on lg v20. and another small complaint abt the lg g5 is that there is still no root method available for the international version yet.
