2) Can you buy original LG batteries or spares in flipkart or ebay India just like Samsung?.
Answer each question seperately.

AnonD-622668, 22 Dec 2016I want to buy the lg g5 but i am still concern with the bootloop issue.. i am stil, wondering ... moreDo not waste your hard earned money in LG devices which has worst battery backup (proof : Same 3 Ampere battery fron G2 to G4 that too with heavier specs upon each model. G5 has less battery capacity). Please save a bit more money and better buy Samsung S7 edge.
Do not blindly believe that all Samsung phones are unsafe to use after Note 7 incident.
My LG G3 (running with stock ROM) has become IMEI null because of choosing 'restore upgrade errors' in the LG PC suite. Now happy with my beloved Samsung Note 4 N910G.
Proof (endurance rating) :
LG G3 : Just 63 hours
LG G4 : Just 54 hours
LG G5 : Just 60 hours (how come?. It is powerful than G4, less battery capacity. Then how?)
Samsung Note 4 (almost similar to LG G4) with stylus : 87 hours (OS 4.4.2) / 90 hours (OS 5.0.1).
So Samsung rocks in durability and battery standby time.

AnonD-567937, 24 Dec 2016please guide, lg g5 or note 5?They are two different handsets. One is a more basic Smartphone with a good camera & expandable memory (G5) where as the other is a Phablet that is more sold on its S-Pen feature & has a few tricks up its sleeve (Note5).
If you want a smaller phone with a decent screen & camera then go with the G5, if you want a bigger screen, the S-Pen & a better look then go with the Note 5.
Kindly for anyone who owns this how is the network reception strength of this phone...the problem is that my Sony z2 keeps on dropping network in my room whereas other phones manages to hold at least one or two bars

No bootloop issue, it may be only in some devices, but It is not a common problem, I've been using G5, its the best as a smartphone can get! cam can produce results which DSLR's are known to produce. See long exposure shots for example...
please guide, lg g5 or note 5?
Just bought an LG G5 and i love it got the titanium coulour and its a pretty good phone the camera is super and the gaming performance is great considering its a snapdragon820 that is powering this device the only isuue is its battery it can last a full day but i play a lot of games i have to recharge it if you wannt to buy an LG G5 go for it i recommend
I am mainly an iPhone user but I read somewhere that if you are in the market for a second phone then get something that is not like the main one you already have & I got the G5 to see if the whole Android experience was better since I had the HTC M8 & for the most part, I am happy with it, not happy enough to make it my 'daily driver' but from an over all point of view I am happy at how Android has progressed & I can see it getting better.
My only gripe with getting a LG handset is that the UI is an overlay of Android so this causes minor glitches & lags. If I want to put a custom launcher on it such as Nova (paid) or Aviate (these were my favourite customer launchers when using my M8) then you have a 3 way battle as to what skin you want to use with the one that you select often coming out as the winner but with more minor issues.
For instance, today I took a phone call & the answer screen looked like it was the Android Jellybean screen with the answer icon in the centre & the little dots coming away from it asking me to swipe & not the LG one that I have always seen since I have had it my G5.
In terms of build, I like it, dont like where the battery slides in & leaves you with a gap & a sharp edge though! Sure it would of been easier for LG to make the phone out of the same slab & then cut off what was needed for the battery or 'Friends' part. Using the LG case has solved this for me.
Do I think that I will ever stop using my iPhone & go to an Android full time? Maybe, if the V20 came to the UK or the Mi Mix then I would think about it for sure!
Out of 5?
3 1/2.
Lg g5 gets awarded as the most repairable phone of the year.... This phone is for keeps..
I have seens some Youtube video of G5 bootloop issues.
I like this mobile but worried about this bootloop issues in LG mobiles.
Does anyone has boot loop issue ? Plz confirm
Should i go for it ?

TAM, 22 Dec 2016I'd go with "please suggest "LG G5 is a great option at current price level and among the 3 phones mentioned. after the recent v10m 450mb update phone is more stable with buttery smooth performance and battery is excellent till now. i did not face any issue after update . before update v10m , phone was heating sometimes on its own and one time my phone got bootloop also and Lg repaced the board.
you may also consider LG G5 because service center for LG in India is excellent compared to the chinese brand like one plus and other vendors. you will find one service center in your city. also after 2 times of service and Parts replacement within 1 year you can claim for brand new repalcement on 3rd time hardware issue. for third time issue call customer care and ask for area service manager contact details for your city. after getting the number call and ask for replacement and that how you can get brand new seal pack replacement phone within 10 days .
i am happy with LG but the issue is bootloop if this issue arises after warranty then your money is gone. LG hardware quality is not topnotch quality. rest you can use as you want within warranty period and get it repaired easily if any issue arises. JIO sim also works great with Volte supported .
Yogs, 20 Dec 2016Does G5 has Bootloop issue? Also which one should great to buy 1) Nexus 6P - 30k 2) LG G5 ... moreI'd go with "please suggest "
just received the Android nougat update in Zimbabwe on my lg H850. So far haven't seen much improvement over MM, although the compatibility of some apps is in question.
