Just had mine updated in uk. Aside from split screen and a slightly less useful notification bar, it appears identical, which I expected.

I have finally got the nougat update in the uk for my G5 and it's great and even my HTC 10 hasn't had the update yet,nice to see LG are ahead of HTC.

I recently updated my LG G5 H850 version( Im from Europe-Rep.Of Macedonia), and im very pleased with the 7.0 nougat. The battery life is the same- awsome, im very suprised for the keyboard which is so good and better from the 6.0.1 Marsh..very fast and accurate.
It's added for the video recording 1080p (60fps).
The menu is changed> there is not menu(too much pages to list 1,2,3, there are 2 slides only but i think u can make them more if u want...
So...overall i guess this update is pretty good for the device and by it self...reply if im wrong or give me a some tip..cheers

36 to 40 hours? I am barely getting 4 to 6 hours at most. Lucky ... mo... moreRealised my mistake. I had Jio Sim in slot 2 and vodafone in Slot 1. Data was activated for the Slot 1 (Vodafone). Guess Jio Sim didn't like not being number 1 & was constantly searching for network draining my battery like hell. I deactivated Slot 2 and Voila.....my battery is now back to normal...
Much relieved and Loving my G5 again.....happy photoing...

Please update the g5 to android 7.1 right away. Samsung is skipping 7.0 to 7.1.

I have lg g5(f700s) and its not update to 7.0 bye ota ..when i click on update (you are using latest software verison for current os) this information appears why my mobile is not update to to 7.0

I too want to use as card along with dual SIM dude its a little complicated ,not everyone was able to do it on lg g5.u can even go through xda forums even they have very less numbers of success.even if i want to i cant really explain u a complete procedure here. i may have to start my own you tube channel as there is no you tube videos for lg g5 for which i dont really have much time due to my work , however if you live in india pune i wud be glad to help you if you come to my home at my free time :)

Been using my G5 a week now and compared to my HTC 10 which I have owned 5 months I really much prefer the G5 it has brilliant battery life and I haven't had any reboots or software glitches at all and it seems just as fast as my HTC plus knowing I can replace the battery gives great peace of mind as well.
Is it me or is sliding the battery in like reloading a gun,it's great to hear the click at the end.

Post update from service centre... moreyup! been there ,done that already,i guess you are late to the party!LOL ,btw I am Already using my Lg g5 along with jio sim volte and my 11 years old tata docomo sim as dual standby from almost a month now.And guess what? i also have a 128gb sd card installed with all those goodies of dual sim card modified my sim tery myself! Recently got the Slimport HDMI TV out adapter for full hd 1080p at 60hz connection using it on my 42 inch lg 3d tv btw the slimport adapter i have can also support 4k tvs .i use several bluetooth gaming controllers and gaming emulators on android to make use of it.I can play most modern games along retro games on android on my big screen through my lg g5 All of this becomes so much easier with the pretty cheap extra battery and a cradle and btw its all abt setup and try and error ,its a bit complicated initially but later becomes piece of cake :) and enjoy ur lg g5..cheers.

Could you possibly mean "H85020VA" firmware (Nov 1st 2016)? I bought my G5 today and as soon as I gave it WPA2 key to my 10 megabit ADSL, that hungry b**** started downloading over 1GB of updates (couple of 100MB files and then two ~500MB update files). I am still on Android 6.0.1 despite all this downloading. I don't get it, maybe it's because I haven't inserted my nano sim yet (i don't have one tbh - will have to sort it out). Would be great to update to Nougat 7.0 before 25dec2016.

Post update from service centre , do hard reset and set up device as new phone. You will get awesome battery life and I am getting a shocking over 24 hrs, better than my iPhone 7 . And that's with both sim slots active.

I had the same issue and I realised my mistake . Do two things. Update to V10k build (India) and second don't setup from google back up post a full reset ( plz back up data) . Set it up as new phone. Trust me I am getting over 24 hrs battery on 4G.
