Two weeks ago LG started pushing the Android Pie Beta to users, part of the LG OS Preview program. The new changes include Gesture Home Button, Adaptive Brightness and Adaptive Battery and Digital Wellbeing.
The software update is currently deployed in South Korea and a user posted a video of the second Beta, showing what it looks like.
In order to be part of the program, you can sign up through the Quick Help app. This means you have to own a Korean unit.
Since LG is keeping its beta testing to the domestic market, other countries and versions might not see the upgrade until a final version is ready, and this will likely happen early next year.
Thanks for the tip!
Thank god that LG still included a CHOICE to use Classic software buttons which are already-easy to use for navigation.
Thanks for posting this video... Awaiting for Pie update on my G7 in India....
The last update this week for Oreo on a LG with a (Dutch) T-Mobile Simcard cases a bootloop. To fix it you need to send it back to T-Mobile or LG! xD Hopefully they will release the Pie update without a bootloop, maybe I should skip any Oreo updates ...
