What is problem with notch? If you dont like it, you can hide this feature in settings. . OLED display. Good Battery. Good camera. . And what more? ?

So most tech reviews and some people on the forum be like
1. Galaxy S10 having the underdisplay fingerprint scanner is cool and futuristic but the G8 having the inscreen speaker is nothing great.
2. Samsung going the triple camera setup is like having the greatest camera setup in the history of smartphones but LG doing the same with G8 is again boring and nothing new.
3. Samsung brought HDR 10+ displays every it's acclaimed but the previous LG phones supporting 4K HDR 10 video recording most reviews don't even mention it.
4. The holes on the Samsung S10 series are no problems for people but LG is hammered down for keeping the notch.
Seriously neither LG nor Samsung has brought any ground breaking innovations in their devices both have adpoted the ugly design trends in the form of notches and display holes but people be like yeah the new Samsung Galaxies are so cool and futuristic and LG are so outdated and done. People have proclaimed LG G8 already a failure only because it has the notch and it doesn't have the underdisplay fingerprint scanner without even the other awesome useful features that are added. Let the device hit the market and then judge it on the basis of useful metrics like the Display, Photo, Video and Audio quality, the battery life, durability, UI,etc.

Perfect size for a phone. No phone should be longer than 155mm!!!!! Notch is to save screen space. Quit whinning like a child.
Perfect size, great battery, good camera, awesome sound. Im soldd on this g8!!!! Will be upgrading from v30. V40 n v50 too big. Not my cup of tea.

I bought a Chinese phone early 2016. Ulefone Power for $150. I could wake the phone with a wave and switch songs and the photos by moving my hand, pause the song by pressing gesture all without a touch. Lock screen gestures etc. A 2016 $150 phone. It ain't anything new or awe inspiring for the ones who didn't know.

WHY LG?
You could just used the Dual Camera version as the LG Q8.
LG V50 as the highest tier
LG G8 as the mainstream flagship
LG Q8 as the Mid Tier phone with SD 821

I'm a Samsung user and to be frank I'd choose this one over the S10 5G because it has the SD card slot. I don't care about the cameras.
Drawback: NOtch.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2019LG no stereo speaker? Rly? No? Noit has stereo speakers, the screen works as the second speaker (Crystall Sound OLED) in combination with the bottom Boombox speaker. Check the hands-on review.

Having 3 cameras of different focal lengths is pretty useful. Both the Telephoto and ultrawide camera are useful in different scenarios. It's great that now more and more manufacturers are adopting the triple camera approach.
