Honestly LG did a good job on this gadget, its been my favourite: Nice display, good cameras with no bumps the phone, fits well in my small hands and pocket, phones runs very smooth... lg please come back.

2) I used SparkOS, but I switched to Corvus OS 3.1 (A12.1) as I had problems with audio playback with the DAC on Spark. LineageOS 20 seems like a good A13 ROM as well.

2. What Android 13 ROM have you installed?
3. Do you have Volte and/or Wifi calling?

I got my LG G8 for a week now. Had trouble flashing custom ROMs, but realized I needed to format data (to remove encryption) first.
Currently running an A13 ROM, this thing is much more faster now compared to Stock ROM. Display quality and brightness seems better than expected, though there's this pink tinting if you shift the device a little. Also, even though bottom bezel is thinner than G7, the side and top bezel seems just slightly thicker.
For $100, I'm glad to have owned one.

I've had it since day 1 and since day 1 its been thru extreme conditions dropped nearly always and yes the back and front is covered in cracks but has it gaven up? nope this phone will outlast most iphones and is the most durable phone I've ever had. little to no lag never freezes and the storage is 10 gbs from full. one of the best phones in my opinion 9/10 camera is a bit outdated

I remember when MKBHD called this phone "Jack of all trades, master of none"
Jack of all trades, master of none MY ASS! In hindsight, this phone is absolutely goated. No smartphone brand of today will offer such a comprehensive package.
Despite the criticisms of G8 that many reviewers mention including GSMarena's review, I don't think it's fair to criticize this phone. I don't think it's fair to criticize any LG phone in fact. We have to thank them for producing phones with an insanely low aftermarket price.
I am planning on turning a G8 into a reliable security camera. This involves taking the back apart so that the battery can be easily replaced. SD855 + IMX363 = Gigachad CCTV setup

I am using this phone LG G8 Thinq LM-G820UM40a from 7 months. Overall this phone is good but the main problem is LG Software because only 2GB or 1.5GB RAM is use-able. Sometime it very hard to use this phone because of Lag/Screen Freez/Stuck. The proccessor is very Good but because of bad optimization it worth is nothing. Camera is average. Display is Good. And in Pakistan PTA is also issue for this Beacause you pay extra money to use Sim.
*NOTE: This is not a Gaming Phone.

I recommend flashing a custom ROM on this device cause the stock one absolutely sucks.
It gets stuck for no reason and it tends to get very laggy.
I'm running Android 13 and it's butter smooth.
