Had been with S... moreUltrawide camera is bad here, I was on V30 and switched to G8S, comparing both taken pictures from V30 and G8S - it is a step down. Right now, after a lot of thinking I am switching G8S to 7T and this is my last LG. I had them a lot: G2/G3/G4/G5/V30 and this one is last. Do not get me wrong - for 370 EUR that you can get it in EU it is very good phone, BUT. IT IS NOT FLAGSHIP CAMERAPHONE anymore! Allround is good! And thats why I am getting 7T - for better camera and speed.

if only LG could have all the buttons on the right side i would support them. I had g6 and G7 but i could never get used to the buttons the left side. All my HTCs had on right side and i also see other brands too,like samsung and huawei. Too bad as i think their phones is not that bad.And audio in Lg is not the best even what Lg or people say. HTC is great with sound.

So please think and update...
LG has any bug file for that they can release it soon

According to others, it seems that VoWIFI was rolled out in that update. I've got a Huawei P30, and it gives me the option to use VoWIFI, but my G8S with the January 2020 update doesn't support it, so I'm waiting for the update.

The issue of whether or not LG G8S has FM radio seems to be controversial. Some people swear that it is there, some say it doesn't. I fall to the latter category - on my G8S model LM-G810EAW the FM radio does not work. Problem is not that the app is not available. I installed the LG "FM radio" apk. When launching the app it tells me to plug in headphones, but when I do have headphones plugged in all the controls are still greyed out. I also tried the nextradio app. On launching it says that my device has FM radio, but when I tune in to a station there is only silence...
In spec sheets of different online stores, one can find the same phone model described as having or not having the FM radio. Apparently if FM radio is important feature for you, you should *not* buy this phone, because information on this point cannot be trusted.
This is sad, because FM radio is the specific reason why I chose LG. My previous two phones were also LG (G5 and G6), chosen specifically because LG seemed to be the only one who still has FM radio on their "flagship" phones. So I guess this G8 is my last LG phone.

It's similar to a Spigen Tough Armour, but lower quality. For example the buttons aren't cut out, so they're a little harder to press. The fit is good though. I tend to use this case more than the clear one which came with th phone because it's a bit thinner.
