Anonymous, 29 Dec 2021No major changes, the performance is slightly better(better scores in 3dmark and geekbench5), ... moreIndeed it's a good update, I noticed something no body spoke about,the screen became more pleasant and vivid, anyone else noticed that? or just me dreaming ;),and yes they finally did it and added two sim caller buttons in dialer app 🥰

No major changes, the performance is slightly better(better scores in 3dmark and geekbench5), and camera app and battery life are the same. Also, I think Android 11 came with LG UX 10 because the interface is a little different. Overall, a good update in my opinion!

I have the G8S and that phone is stupidly cool no matter what I trow at it, and I play a ton of PSP and 3DS emulators on it, but even in benchmarks it stays cool without any heavy throttling.
Anyhow mine got A11 today, 810EAW

Anjan, 08 Dec 2021Is there any significant improvement in sound in g8x compared to g8s?Idk i have G8S and it has decent sound but, it doesn't have ESS dac (prolly some stock SD 855 one) like the rest of LG flagships have.. Only 15 volume steps instead of 60 in G8, G8X etc and no quad dac mode for high impedance headphones so its quiet but normal plugs are just fine with little over half volume..

There's no cooper vapor chamber and it heats a lot under load then throttles dramatically. Check out some teardown vids of Lg's flagships to see what i mean.. And still no Android 11
