RishiGuru, 22 Dec 2021Is it happening just after Android 11 update? Or suddenly this problem crept up?Yeah, it's an issue. Even call notifications are now silent, no ringer+no vibrations. Automatically outgoing call going background which so annoying. Had resetted my phone but its still not working normal. Stupid update it is.
Any solution for it, please post.

Is it possible to upgrade it on... moreI don't know much about other countries but in India we are having steady quarterly update policy. One of my LG G8X is running Android 11 and received an OTA update recently. After update:
Software Version: V30b-IND-XX
Android Version: 11
Android security patch level: 01-Nov-2021
I don't think G8X will receive Android 12 as it has already been updated from Android 9 to 11. Hence in 2022 we will just get security patch updates on a quarterly basis till Oct, 2022 when the phone turns 3 years old.
You may try installing LG Bridge on PC and give it a try for updates. The problem is yours is a locked carrier specific version. Give it a try.

I think the updates depend on your carrier, I have 11 form Mint (T-Mobile) and no issues AFAIK

Hi, I bought this phone unlocked from Sprint, with Android 10. Is it possible to upgrade it on Android 11? I've got the September 2021 security patch, but no A11 update. I've read that this phone may receive maybe A12 update as well in the future.

My carrier says this phone (LG G8X ThinQ) is not VoLTE compatible! Is that possible? I contacted LG but haven't heard anything. I just bought this thing less than a year ago... Very frustrating. Maybe there is an update or something that can be done to make it work with VoLTE. If not, I won't buy another LG phone - ever - just out of principle.

Does any one has issue with the touch sensitivity after android 11 update? I cannot explain the issue but there is some issue which can be identified if you remember how the touch was when the phone was running Android 10. It's slow and lagging and some thing different.
