Hi GSMArena, should it be possible to redo the endurance test with android 5.1.1 (3G bugs fixed and cores limited to 1.5GHz).
Very thanks. This phone deserve better than this awful score (that is due to post-lauch bug correction).
Amazing phone but shitty battery. Love the design and looks and featurs but get hot due to the processor speed and the processor drains the battery in two to three hours tops. I preferred it to Samsung s6 but now due to the battery i am regreating it. And looking for other phone to replace it.
I have Asus Zenfone 2 and i'm thinking to change with LG G flex 2, what do you think is good idea or I should remain with Asus Zenfone 2? Tks
Karlo G, 24 Aug 2015i have been using the g flex 2 for a couple of days now, and so far so good - no heating issu... moreI just received nillkin silicon back case very light and xellent quality for my lg g flex2 from Ali express online store----I also ordered 2 glass protectors still not received.
i have this device everything seems to be good but the screen bightness is bad not bright enough under the sunlight .
replaced my G flex with G flex 2 through on-line purchase back here in Pakistan, almost a week ago. this is a spectacular cell phone which lacks nothing from outside looks to hardware inside! unfortunately no accessories available back here like pouches and screen protector.
i have been using the g flex 2 for a couple of days now, and so far so good - no heating issues. But the battery life leave much to be desired (compared to my last phone: Xiaomi Mi3). i got the 2gb ram asian version because the european version with 3gb ram is not available here. price is almost then same with lg g3 so i opted for the more advanced processor and gpu, bought it at around $355. i tested the device with antutu and got a respectable score of 51699 :-)
i just hope screen protector and casings are commonly available here in the philippines.
CUTZ, 15 Aug 2015Just Bought mine from the UAE (3gb ram,32gb version),its two days old and so far no complaints... moreI got it for about 1399 AED which is around $383 from an online store Jadopado.com..there even cheaper options through the same site.
Got my H955 in Norway, it was special one day offer 2750 NOK (approx. 250EUR). So got best smart for this money. By the way, there still no 5.1.1 update for H955.
I Bought a 2gb version in India. It works great and works fast too.
I am happy with the phone. But just wanted to know why the space available for user only 6gb (out of 16gb).
Is there anything I can do to increase usable space as I see apps that support sd card are becoming rare now.
Thanks in advance.
Guys Lg g flex2 really has a strong grafhic card & gpu--- I played asphalt 8 airborne (1.5gb in size)---it runs smoothly like butter---no lag，no heating issues----enjoyed a lot--- that is another proof against heating rumour and one more thing I noticed that the heavy files installed very quickly that shows much juice in snapdragon 810 processor. LG rocks ;)
CUTZ, 15 Aug 2015Just Bought mine from the UAE (3gb ram,32gb version),its two days old and so far no complaints... moreDear how much it costs in UAE and what is the model number of ur Gflex2 as mine is h959 but it has 2gb ram & 32gb storage.
Just Bought mine from the UAE (3gb ram,32gb version),its two days old and so far no complaints.yes it gets warm just like any other high end non-metallic phone but not too much to be a deal breaker, its supper fast (compared to my G3).battery life will last you a day.i would definatley recommend this phone for its price.
Just got it from my frnd from USA, who bought it through Expansys USA-h 959 asian model using it in Pakistan, costs 330$-- color flamenco red--- what a beast--- no heating issues--- a flagship device but truly in a flagship killer price --- samsung cant reach its rich looks and curves---gone through 3 updates and now on 5.1.1--- blazing fast--- strongly recomend---dont trust on rumours--- I investigated and reviewed its cons for a month but finds nothing wrong---now every other fone seems bending outwards as by using g flex 2 it creates an optical illusion that is very enjoyful----100% satisfied!
HI I just updated from samsung S4 to G flex 2. And I saw here some negative Comments but I think the Phone is really SUPERB..my phone shiped with 5.1.1 update so I didnt faced the overheat before Update, but now it Run colder than my S4 (sometimes on Multitasking it gets little bit warm but not as near to the S4 )..It is incredible Fast Snapdragon 810 ,best screen with deep black. Attractive phone. I really Recomand this phone it is cheapest in market with this performance I bought 399eur (italy).. About the battery I will say just Ok. In Videoplay it is Verry good
I had the g flex 2 when it first came out, and indeed it did get seriously hot,so I got rid. A couple of months later and decided to try again with the new 5.1.1 update. So glad I did, still gets warm, but no more than any other phone, there's no lag and is super fast. Would definitely recommend.
