AnonD-114814, 21 Apr 2014qualcom s600 is 1,7ghz ,not 1,5 ghzThe WiFi only version of the G pad 8.3 runs a 1.7 ghz, the Verizon version with LTE data only runs at 1.5 ghz. Hope this clears things up.

NO, this CAN NOT be used as a phone, there is no GSM network, and that means you can not send a message or call a phone number.

I use my gpad with groove lite so yes it can be used as a phone. Id suggest obtaining a bluetooth headset, otherwise everyone will hear your calls
