Flashing is easy, if it won't work by on upgrade inside the phone using wireless, I suggest using LG pc suite, you will get up to 5.0.1-5.0.2 in no time, I have European G2 and already have 5.0 2

Very good phone!
Heating is very minimal even during heavy graphics game. I like this phone!

The roll out is in process and will reach based on regions.Some got it already.U r right in saying that all lg phones have lollipop except g pro 2,but keep in mind late mean only better update free of bugs.Be patient LG never disappoint their customers.
