My lg gpro 2 has received the 5.0.1 lolypop upgrade.
Though there is no miracle in the upgrade, I would still b recommend it, yes, the battery life has improved, but it was always good.
Do upgrade if your mobile receives an update.

Hi, I was just wondering if this phone have a network mode selector like samsung? You can choose whether the phone will detect 3G or GSM connections only. Thanks!! I always use my phone for 3G browsing so network selector is a must for me. :)

Firmware V20a-31-MAR-2015 is now being rolled out OTA, this should be Lollipop 5.0.1.
Any guinea pigs here already upgraded? I have no interest in upgrading unless there are substantial improvements such as battery life (which is still very good for me) or being able to choose which apps can hide the navigation icons.

My lg gpro 2 received it's lolypop upgrade yesterday.
It is an imported unit bought from ebay.
it was a 650 mb download.
there is not much in the lolypop upgrare to like or dislike it.
The screen has become a little pale and the previous cartoonish icons have gone.
Buyers from India need not fret that they have not received lolypop upgrade, the previous kitkat is good as well.

When is LG going to release lollipop update in India for G Pro 2?
South Korea , Hungary, UK and other countries have got it but no update India despite being one of the important markets for them. It's end of 1st quarter, still waiting.
