when the hell is lg g pro 2 in India going to get the lollipop update...even micromax is seeding lollipop for its devices...shame on you LG...such a marvelous phone...yet no support from LG...

justlucky, 14 Apr 2015i actually use china unicom, i did try to switch with china mobile sim cards and still have no... moreDid you try going to Settings -> Tethering & networks -> Mobile networks -> Network operators and manually searching and connecting China Unicom's WCDMA or LTE network? I'm had mixed success with auto-connect when leaving and coming back into China and sometimes have had to use the manual method.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. Within minutes of turning on it told me update is available so went ahead with it. It updated to Lollipop, has worked great since then no problems.
I just did Antutu benchmark got 42469.
If you have problem with phone after lollipop update you may need to just backup data and factory reset.

I bought in Indonesia, its unlocked phone d838 asia ver.
I study abroad to china, and now my lg only stays in my room, tried to fine solutions but nothing helps.
This was a perfect smartphone for me considering 3gb ram, replaceable battery, microsd card slot, big screen, and fully featured, but sadly i will sell this phone when i got back to my country :(.

Just after updating to lollipop, phone become very slow, even the touchscreen is lagging, battery also warm. I ran antutu, it only scores 32000. I check that free ram is 1.4 gig.looks like the phone still running something in the background. Then I wait a bit, 5 minutes, then restart the phone. Suddenly everything become normal, no more lag, antutu now 40000 which is the correct level. I have not notice any improvement yet after the update, and not trying to find either, but definitely this update is ok to do.

I Updated my LG Gpro2 D838 from Kitkat to Lollipop thru OTA software update by WiFi here in the philippines, and so far no problems and almost same with the kitkat in terms of battery life and im still getting use to the new UI look, but its nice and i'm not having any problems so far... Its nice that LG have this updates for their Phones/Tablets. Hope they Keep updating the LG Gpro2 for more future Android OS Versions coz the LG Gpro2 is really a nice/Excellent phone for me.
