I've had this phone for about 7 months now on the sprint network and I must say this phone absolutely sucks. I love the screen size and the camera but not being able to receive text or picture messages is the reason I hate this phone. It's acting up while I'm typing this post. LG you dropped the ball on this one. I'm going back to Samsung.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2016I have had mine since oct2015 also, and last night it just turned off and didn't turn back on.... moreSame thing happened to me and i ended up having to submit a warranty claim. Now my new phone turns on but keeps freezing..
I had LG G Stylo for just a few days, returned it due to freezing screen issues. Had to reboot it several times and every time it froze. Never expected LG to come out with this type of crap.
I had Moto G which worked fine, now I got Moto X Play and no issues with Moto.
This is the second LG stylo from cricket, both have the same problems. Can't upgrade to 6.0 Marshmellow. LG released it to Cricket in March. Both Cricket and LG say to do a factory reset and the new software 6.0 should download, but no success. Will speak to a supervisor at LG on Monday for a resolution. Had the phone 2 days, could return it, but would lie to keep the phone. May send it to LG for repairs in lieu of Cricket warranty repair.
I've had this phone for a few months now, and honestly regret spending the money on it. It is one of the worst phones I've ever had. It's slow, the memory on it sucks, and I've never been able to send or receive pictures. I love the screen size and camera quality. If those were the only things I was looking for in a phone, it would be great. Waste of money.
I have had this phone for 3 months now and I love it but recently all 3 back buttons (Vol up, power, Vol down) no longer work I have to use knock on (very annoying) and I have to adjust the volume by going into a video in my gallary and I use the slide up and down on the right side to adjust the volume any help please??

Everyone I've spoken to have same issues..no memory, updates steal memory!
Hope you received a nice raise, for that
I have had the lg g stylo for 2 months...my son has 1 and my best friend. We all have different carriers, virgin mobile, boost and metro pcs. We all have the same issues...not getting text messages, phone calls and voice mails appear 2 days later. Ive reset the phone..reboot daily and its the same issues. I wouldn't buy this phone unless they fixed the issues and upgraded it.
This is one of the worst phones ive ever bought the memory suuucks. Why have a screen this big if it takes up all your mem to use. U can only have a couple apps on this phone before it slows dramatically and runs out of space. I have phones from 5 years agao that seriously run faster and more efficiently. Plus since im on boost running 6.0 its almost unrootable. Id rather use a flip phone less of a headache than this POS.
I have had this phone for almost two months and it has been a lot of trouble. Crackly, lost and dropped calls, and a few weeks ago occasionally the screen would not go on. It is happening more and more. I expect shortly it will not go on at all. Maybe I have a lemon, but I would not recommend this phone!!!

Slow, 23 Apr 2016CORRECTION. I currently have a 64 gb memory card installed. It reads just fine. I have yet to ... moreActually the LG G Stylo, has a problem with reading any memory cards. If you try to use MTP over the computer. The phone will no longer read an accurate recording of how much memory is on the device. Plus your device may read 64GB but the phone can only handle 32GB that information is coming off of LG's website.
I bought my LG G Stylo phone the beggining of this month and so far everything is working as i expected, it's actually an upgrade from the LG Optimus F-60 which i had for only a year and a half i would have kept it but the cpu had some kind of short which caused the battery to work a little bit faster which caused my former phone to heat up. Other than that i'm satisfied that LG kicked out a budget phone for those who can't afford a flagship device, my one only qualm is that my fingers are slightly not long enough to multitask using one hand but oh well i think i can live with that 100%

I have had this phone since June 2015 thru Metropcs. It is the 16gb ram, 2gb rom version. I currently have a 32gb memory card installed. I have yet to experience any performance nor reliability issues. My only beef is that i wish there were more options available. As in choice of internal memory (16, 32, or 64 gb ram, and 4 gb rom) and a quicker processor. I have owned iPhones 3 thru 5 and Galaxies 2 thru 5, my wife currently owns an iPhone 6 plus, and my son has owned the Lg G3 & G4. So combined, we have quite a bit of experience. Im currently debating if i should now go to an Lg V10....
Dongo, 17 Apr 2016Just purchased the LG G Stylo.. is thre a user manual on line?Yes there is manual online you can down load. Just google LG G Stylo manual. I'd give you the link but this site won't allow me to post a link evidently.
I've had my G Stylo now for about six months, had a minor issue with fuzziness in the ear piece on phone calls but it was fixed under warranty and LG got it back to me in less than eight days. But I love this phone more than any other I've had and I've had some nice ones . The LG Stylo is fast and reliable and I love the big screen. And I love having the little stylus onboard and handy for those times I don't have one handy otherwise. And that quick note feature really comes in handy.
