Please do not at least buy this phone. This phone is not worth spending a dime.
1.The screen doesnt work at all.
2.Music quality thogh high seldom works.
3. Touchpad is like hell.
4.Internet doesnt work.
5. No themes or Games.
6. Sync is worse.
7.Automatically calls the last recent called number.
8.Low screen visibility.
9.Works very bad while playing videos.
10.No Wi-Fi
I think I have given 10 reasons not to buy it.It was a waste of my first salary.

I had this phone and thanks to the resistive screen I always had trouble typing and navigating in this phone. Its laggy all the time. Silently calls the first contact this is a weird bug really.
For a budget phone, buy Samsung Galaxy Y (Android gingerbread) instead.

very bad phone dont buy im a teen ager and this phone was only worked for 1 year nd after 1 year its display was gone and its loud speaker was become bad only thing which i looked about this was that when i reqested a girl to be my gf she told me yes me on this phone but sadly we are not now toghter im talking about the girl...! :( missu my gf...! :(

It is a totally failed cell phone. Phone book search option is too slow. Also when you want to send msg to group wise so only 10 persons you could select but after selection msg will be sent to only one person who you will select first. It seems that LG sailed the same to market without any checking.
LG is third class mobile company..

5.bad camera but music output is better than Nokia in this price range.battery life is impressive.but dont buy this any way

My LG gs290 is displaying Chinese on cell broadcast info display even if i set the language to English. My network provider uses only English. What is the problem?

It's bad for mp4.not all mp4.there is no zoom in 2mp,also it had showed the touchscreen problem and no system for video streaming. Very bad device.....
