This phone DOES NOT have accelerometer. The UI (user interface) turns only at user's request by pressing a portrait/landscape button or selecting the option from a menu. The phone does not turn the UI if you tilt the phone. Also, on LG's product page there's no mention of accelerometer in the phone's specifications.
Please correct this.

new user, 05 Jan 2011i am not able to play mp4 videos on my gs290. so,please help me to solve this query. hey use lg pc suit to convert videos into gs290 mpa format. it is simple start lg pc suit go to vidios put your video in it and then right click on it swith to edit

Anonymous, 29 Dec 2010Plz tell me ,how is its screen ? Can it compete nokia and samsungCookie's screen comes nowhere near to the likes of nokia 5xxx series phones. Invest a bit more and get hold of a nokia 5233.
