LG GT540 Optimus - user opinions and reviews

Purchased GT540 in April 2010... It was WOW at the time. Still have it, still works, still has original protective film at the back. I trade it today for £150 with Samsung. It has resistive touch screen what cause almost invisible dent in the screen casing that touch the LCD and it looks like a drop of water under the screen. Most used buttons are hard to press after a while (worn off). In case of any issues with LCD it's very easy to change it without service. Spare parts still available in online markets. Unfortunately very small memory that presents to install more than 3 extra apps. Except that it was perfect, small, handy mobile back in 2010 for calls, messages and sat nav.

Had one of those when I was 13 years old. Put custom rom on it then i overclocked it so much that it fried itself. Sent it in for warranty and received a new one.

Although this phone has only 3mp camera it boost brilliant quality.
screen is resistive means you can touch screen with your nail too.

My touchsreen is failling to sense. Now i cant open. Sometimes it shows the menu apps but if u tap it can't read. It only vibrates

I use lg GT540 but is cracked and low internal memory. But lg GT540 is a good smart phone. I use that in 2012 Feb

Turn ON your phone. Press both VOLUME UP + HOME + SEARCH buttons for 5 sec...this is for hard reset and for unlocking your forgotten password pattern....
