For using GPRS on second sim, go to web select settings, then profiles then select default sim and select sim 2 as the default sim

reza, 04 Jan 2011yes this fhone is active dual standby phoneIt can even call from SIM1 to SIM2 or viceversa, it takes a while to realise itself that it doesnot have resources to allow such a call!

I can no longer find LG GX300 in Manila and nearby cities like Makati City and Pasay City. Stores commonly say they don't have stocks! Is it true it's already been phased out by LG?

Is the phone capable of receiving 2 calls on the two sim cards at the same time, where the first call is active and the second one is waiting? or it has only 1 transmitter/receiver for the cell network as GX200?

I am also facing voice quality problem from second sim. And i also faced second sim always goes to "emergency call". After that incident i switch off and on then working fine

Today(30/Dec/2010) I went to a different service center with the replaced GX 300, and the guys agreed there is a problem with voice quality at the other end for this set also. They said they will change the circuit board, or again try to do another replacement.(for this they need to get permission from someone in LG)
I think I have to opt for board change since I fear this problem may be common to all pieces in a batch and I will not get another handset which is touble free.

Any suggestion to solve my issues (low volume and distortions) are most welcome. I bought it and replaced at Univercell Kochi.
