yes this phone supports java applications, I will recommend you the bolt mobile explorer instead opera mini, bolt is the best. I did not used more applications and games so I can not tell you if the phone supports installations in the memory micro sd

nokia c2-00 is better than GX300
because up to 32GB microsdhc and nokia is friendly user.. i wait nokia c2-00

The phone is perfect, I have 2 days using it and I still have the full battery icon, great sound with the incoming calls and ring tones, the bad is that it does not have spanish support for menu or messages. I will post in a couple of days more info about this, if you have questions let me know
