I recently purchased LG GX500. I can connect internet through WIFI. But while opening browser for any site, site is not opening i am getting an error messange 'Unable to connect Please review your network sttings.' What may be the reason...? Any setting issues..? 1:does LG gx 500 have a paaword protect feature that restricts access to the phone?
2:Also does it have 3.5 mm audio jack for listening to music.
3:Whats the durability like? Does it hang often?
4:Also are the dual sim standby
5:Is there anyway to bar numbers on this phone.

GX 500 is still a better phone coz the battery life is awesome 20 Hrs. Wifi goes smooth and screen is much cool. Also design of the phone is super.

whats the security like on this phone ?
Can it do the following ??
(1) password protect files ?
(2) password protect the sim switching mechanism to prevent access to 2nd sim if required.(varous people use my phone)
(3) assign specific ringtones to individual contacts
(4) assign specific "message tones" to indinidual contacts.
Any help would be appreciated

I have read various opinions about lg gx 500. It is very good phone but where lg lacks behind is availibilty of software..After its purchase I was not able to add a theme to mt device..On nokia 5800 which Ialso I have, I add bundle of themes and softwares..LG should definetely work hard to give owners of lg mobiles to add softwares like that of nokia...with the cost of lg gx500 of Rs.9500/- and no facility to add additional softwares, it is shame for them.
