LG Innotek has announced a new 15W inductive charger, bringing fast wireless charging speed up to wired standards. The vast majority of wireless chargers have an output around 5W (5V/1A), making it a rather sluggish process best done overnight.
Not so with this LG charger. LG's press release states that the new product will be able to charge a battery from 0 to 50% in half an hour, though it would have been useful to know what capacity that reference battery is. Even so, Samsung's existing fast wireless charger is able to charge the 3,000mAh power pack inside the Galaxy S7 in a little over 2 hours, so LG's pad should be pretty close to a fast wired charger.
LG's charger complies to the standards set by the WPC, meaning it's compatible with all Qi-labeled devices. It will be available later this month in North America, Europe, and Australia, but the price hasn't been disclosed yet.
hahahahahaha get burned baby.....ahahah
How about LG G5? Funny they produce wireless charging pad but their flagship can't be wireless charging. Can someone explain this
They should include the wireless back cover with the v20. So to make it compatible with this wireless pad.
