Ever since I dropped my Renoir the auto focus has stopped working completely.
Is there a way to fix this?

I bought this phone recently because I was looking for a replacement. Even though it was cheap at AUD$300, I am somewhat disappointed. The predictive text for messaging is the worst I have experienced for a mobile phone, many common words simply are non-existant in this phones vocabulary.
The touchscreen can often be unresponsive.
The 8mp camera is also less than I expected based on the rave reviews it got.
I took some comparison shots to compare side by side with my Nokia 6220 and the Nokia takes better quality photos even though it's only 5mp, the Nokia photos are less grainy and the colors more lifelike. The autofocus on Renoir is less accurate too because sometimes the results are blurry photos.

This phone is amazing just got it yesterday camra great. touch amazing the net is really good and fast wigets are fun.... just having sooo mutch fun the only thing i dodnt like so far is it you touch it to hard it seems to lose some colour it comes bak tho dodnt do it to mutch have a light hand :D

LG PC Suite worked fine on XP and Vista but not on Win 7. ... moreSet USB mode mass storage then connect via the cable to your pc.
Works for mine.

I bought it yesterday, Everything seems fine, but I cant solve two issue....
1. How can I record Phone conversation? Is it possible or not!!
2. How can I use GPS to know my position (lat & long)??

LG PC Suite worked fine on XP and Vista but not on Win 7. and i don't think Win 8 is out yet, Win 7 just came out.
It can still access the phone memory but not the Micro SD. :( i've tried dl latest LG Software but no luck.

First l will compare this Renoir with rival Pixon:
-Renoir has xenon flash(much better then Pixons Led);
-Renoir has a bit smaller body then Pixon and much better feel in hands;
-Renoir has simple but fast interface,so usage is faster.Pixon has better widget and eyelike interface;
-Renoir has better sound in video recording it is actually stereo so you can enjoy in PC while watching them;
-Renoirs screen is a bit smaller then Pixons so this is not good;
-Aps like facebook or twitter are working perfectly on both model, kinetic scrolling has a bit smoother on LG but Pixon is all most same here;
-And for last even the most important is that Renoir has WI-FI and it is fast,Pixon does not have it-so no Hot SPots for Samsung here.

I've had this cell for almost a year now, and i advice everybody considering bying this, not to. When i bought it in Denmark for about 500$, i started out by being happy about it. A month later the screen was totally wrecked, although i had barely used it, and had been very carefull with it. Now the camera is good for a cellphone, when used properly. The blitz doesn't really work, since it's way to strong so take pictures when theres a good light. The touch screen is also a little "slacky". If you're in a hurry, you might tend to press twice since the it sometimes react 0,5 or 1 second after you've touched it. A half-decent cell, but DEFINETELY not worth the money.

I've had phone for bout 2 months, great phone, much better than KU990.
I've had no problem transfering files(photos, videos) to PC when i used Widnows XP. I installed Windows 7 yesterday but not i'm having problem. I'm using LG PC Suite that came wtih the phone, V 4.G.3.77.090206.
In Windows 7 it detect and connects the phone without any problem, but it WON'T let me allow the memory card, only the phone memory. ???
Is this known problem on Win 7? do i need new software or something? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

pls help. i tried to copy some files from the external to the internal memory. while copying i got a screen saying that there wasn't enough memory and it blocked on that screen. i tried to remove the battery, but not when i try to switch on, the phone gets stuck on the logo screen. it keeps rebooting itself but i can switch on totally to be able to delete some files from the internal memory. i tried several combinations. no sd car, no sim, pluged to charger but nothing seems to work. pls give me some advise
