but not all videos...
its better to encode the videos to divx before we copy it to the phone
software is available in cd which we get with the pack

kat, 24 Feb 2009has anyone noticed that the msg tone and ringtone are so low in volume!these are from my lapto... moreeven i also found the same problem.. :(
the ringtone is very low even when oompared to my nokia N72 !! thought the music playback is superb with the head set..
Can anybody fix this ?? :(

slow motion video sucks compared to predecessor, lg viewty. phone is nice but made with ALL plastic parts!

I have installed Java apps bigger than 3MG so not sure if that is a problem.
In regards to the GPS I assume you mean dedicated software (like a tom tom for example) - not that I know of yet. However the GPS on my phone works with Google Maps which I installed (it gets my position) and also the geo-tagging photo feature and the jogging buddy (which this fat b#$st@rd probably won't use :-) Apparently I burnt 147 Kj walking to the shops to pick up a packet of chips and a soft drink)

Hi guys , I've got 2 questions :
1- I've heard it has some problems installing java applications bigger than 3 MBs , is that right?
2- Considering the problem above , is there any GPS application that we can install on Renoir ? (since one can only install java software on this phone). I mean not this GPS softwares which need wi-fi connections to get worked .

I was never a fan of lg until i saw this bad boy. I love it. I have had no problems with it at all. Would highly recommend it.

how much does LG kc910 worth (in Philippines)? does anyone of you have an Idea? and compared to 5800 XM, which is better?

is there a way to alter the format the vids are recorded in? When i try to send a vid to a friend the file is unsupported. Want to go back to my faithful Nokia!

i hate dis fone!!!! its not responded quickly if i touch the screen very slow! and one more thing the accessories its hard to find.its seems i carry a cheap fone!

the latest firmware (V10_g ARAB) 16-01-09 has definitely improved the picture quality. i believe there is something with the flash also. It seems LG has taken renoir seriously. i found they didnt have much support for their previous phones. but they have given renoir a go. i just love my renoir.
oh one thing, the shutter sound can be turned off in this latest firmware.

cat, 21 Feb 2009went from a viewty to the renoir!!! massive diffrence! NOT IN A GOOD WAY! fone freezes and cra... morechange your memory card or full format it with sdformatter. i believe its damaged as it was in my case. if you take out the memory card your renoir should work fine.

the keypad isnt as responsive, you tap one side of the screen and another options comes up! and i know this is nit picking a bit but the camera comes open everytime you put it in your pocket because of the direction of the mechanisim to open it, surly this should have been looked at when they built the phone!

NOT IN A GOOD WAY! fone freezes and crashes to the point where you have to take the battrey out! dosnt matter how many replacements you have! the viewty i had for 20months before deciding on the renoir and i never had the viewty replaced once!!! wish id never upgraded!!!
