Has anyone noticed a tri band version of this phone? They re being listed on ebay.. I bought a quad band.. but it says tri band on the side and does not list the 850 band.. Is this accurate?

Anonymous, 19 Nov 2008Many thanks for your reply. It is wider than standard 4:3, but not full widescreen (best qual... moreit looks ok on my tv. not full dvd like 720x576 PAL resolution but you need a dedicated video camera for that.
However mine is still out of sync audio and video. i tried one in-store at a "3" shop and it was slightly out of sync there too in the 640 x 384 mode, fine in the next one down.

it's confirm the phone has lots of bug and ringtone is low.

thinking of buying this phone but it's not out here in M'sia. Prob by end of this month Nov it will surface.
Q1. Video recording is out of sync with audio? F/W problem?
Q2. There is no dedicated speaker for loudspeaker?
Q3. How loud is the incoming ringtone?
I am using N73 and it's loud. My fren is using Viewty and the incoming ringtone is very soft, just slightly louder than IPHONE - haha

1. Software/firmware is really BUGGY x 1000... moreyou're not happy with the KF600, but you keep it 6 months. When I don't like my mobile I sell it the next day.
In the mean time I'n mvery happy with my LG renoir even if it's slow sometimes.

***phone is not buggy
***use the volume key to increase volume, child.
***battery life is great, even with wifi and movies usage
***i have an n73 and its rubbish. its not even that loud
***phone does support java, albiet a little difficult to get the workaround

Paul Blakemore, 19 Nov 2008Bought the Renoir 2 weeks ago. Happy overall, but widescreen is not 16:9 so I have black bars... morei think it does record in widescreen. In video camera settings (little cog icon top left in video mode) you can choose the video size resolution. The top two choices are widescreen.

Anyone know if there is a mobile out there that records in widescreen 16:9?!

They both have the louddess speaker. No other phone can fight it.

Don't tell me is innov8 or pixon.
both equally suck in this area.
C905 maybe... but also not really that great.
My housemate can proved that. :)
