Anonymous, 11 Feb 2010some1 help me pls.. bolt browser cannot be installed on my phone. i have oprea mini inside if ... moreuse Arena native browser or a SIGNATURED opera mini to open the link below :
follow the onscreen instructions n get a signed version (dualsign, verysign, or thawte) but if you cant get a signed vrsion, get an unsigned.
btw, about 2 month ago I had trouble to get a signed vrsion. All I got just unsigned vrsion. I could fix this by doing 3x factory reset from secret menu. But I hope you can get a signed vrsion from the link above without any trouble.

I had a question ...
I have recently asked the LG people about the 14 hours first charge of the Arena, and they replied positively, i.e. that is, it has to be charged for 14 hours for the first time ...
so there ... I am more confused because I read that for this specific kind of batteries one should nor overcharge ... !
So my question to anyone who has an Arena ... how did you charge it for the first time?
Do you think now that your first charge or overcharge had an effect on the subsequent battery performance?
Thanks in advance for your reply 3^
got my 3G Iphone stashed away somewhere.never regretted picking up after the Arena.does the job and delivers even more than the iphone.btw, im'a go ahead and pick up the 64gb ipod touch to complement my wifi browsing.doesnt even begin to compare the Iphone class UI with the arena - or with any other phone for that matter.
If ur on a tight budget and an iPhone is out of reach, this fone may be ur 2nd option
Pedro, 09 Feb 2010Hi all! How does affect the touching capabilities of the Arena if you use a screen protector ... morecannot use a stylus or pen or anything like that as touch is heat sensitive not touch like the KU990
Pedro, 09 Feb 2010Hi all! How does affect the touching capabilities of the Arena if you use a screen protector ... moreyou can not use a stylus on Arena screen anyway. Its a capasitive screen (not a resistive) which only detect skin electricity everytime you touch the screen. If you think its necessery to protect your screen with a screen guard, go for it. The touchscreen will still work fine. I have it on my Arena too.
Beh, 24 Jan 2010Press *#06# on your mobile and the international mobile equipment identity number appears. The... moreIF the Seventh & Eighth digits of IMEI are 00 this means the cell phone is original ...
does this apply to only LG phones ? if no whats
the method to find out in case of other brands.
hands-on experience with this unit:
-excellent music player, audio output on dolby surround easily tops the iphone experience, given you're using a quality headset,im using one with a 40mm driver
-UI rivals the iphone, same capacitive screen...iphone is the most fluid, nonetheless
-very easy access on all application and useful phone contents
-camera flash, though non-xenon and non-dual, is good enough to not produce artificial enviro-lighting...
-has expansion slot for a micro SD,8gb of flash mem is good enough for standard users, those on the music and video side will find it useful in upgrading to 32gb more
-front camera even takes quality photo and video
-3.5mm standard audio/video port
-classy and sleek body design
-good battery life...will need to recharge though at the end of the day...
-alpha numeric kb is spacious enough even for a big guy like me
-easily plays most mpeg4 videos
-full icon menu access
-security can be enabled for most applications
-qwerty pad is kinda difficult for thumb typing
-using the web browser proves difficult due to the limited screen size, iphone still rocks..big time...
-sim card slot lies underneath the battery and is not hot-swappable,compared to iphone...
-memory card is hot swappable but still needs to take out the backplate to do so...
these are first hand experience...
over-all,i'd rate the arena with an 8.5 user-friendliness is a big boost, iphone on the other hand rates at 6,big time useless without an itune installed on you
How does affect the touching capabilities of the Arena if you use a screen protector foil?
Would be actually a necessary step?
Do i need to get a stylus afterward?
Pro & cons.
Thanks for the comments :-)
Has anybody ever witnessed the american version of this celly anywhere?
